The main thing you gotta think about Castillo is that he's been on the decline and is doing that in the 2nd most pitcher friendly park and if he came to the Sox we are the 2nd most hitter friendly park
I honestly would rather end the offseason with Teoscar, Arenado, and Beuhler. I think that would give us enough right handed bats to not be overly left handed and hopefully move another outfielder to allow Anthony an option to come up and help out.
Yeah I think I would prefer Buehler as well. I honestly don’t know if they need that many righties though unless they are trying to trade Masa and Wilyer or Casas to make it happen
I think if we can package a trade for Arenado by unloading Yoshida, that could help. We don't really need Arenado but he would be a right handed bat and open up our outfield more. It would allow Devers to DH more. It would be bad contract for bad contract and we may need more than just Yoshida but in my opinion, it's addition by subtraction
Castillo is good but a 1-1 trade with casas is silly. Just pay Burnes. I don’t mind trades but we have a hell of a farm system and we need to keep that. use some money and pay players.
Even though they are making moves still the same old ownership it seems......................allergic to spending money despite being top 3 in most profitable franchises in MLB on a yearly basis. This team refuses to spend money. Trading Tristan Casas is not a good move. Dude is a gold glove caliber 1B who is capable of hitting 30-40 HR a year. Like unless you said you are getting an absolute stud which Luis Castillo is no longer that. He is still a solid starter, but not good enough to give up Casas.
I don't want to trade anymore prospects and I sure as hell do not want to trade a player who's already on the MLB roster and contributing to the team. They need to just stop with this nonsense and pay Corbin Burnes. I don't understand what their logic is.
Yeah we suffered long enough waiting on prospects to develop. There's no need to now trade those prospects in "hopes" for a solid player. Now it's time spend, and maybe trade a couple mid tier prospects at best to enhance the team.
love the analysis as always Corbin! a few things i'm thinking: agree that Triston Casas for Castillo is an absolute non starter. I also think that Wilyer for Castillo is something I would NOT do...except for one scenario...what if they wanted to take Yoshida from us as well? Castillo for Yoshida + Wilyer comes out even on BTV; it frees us up to fast track Roman Anthony and to go be aggressive and get a Teoscar Hernandez. And gives us the proven mid-high rotation guy in Castillo with only a modest payroll increase. Do also think Seattle is one of the teams where Masa could add good value. If that's not of interest to the Mariners, then I have no interest in sending Wilyer; would rather try to make the trade happen with more of a David Hamilton headliner.
I'm doing a 180 after the Crochet trade still left the team with massive cap space. Save the roster/farm and I believe you still have room for Burnes+T Hernandez+a good reliever (or any other high-quality set of players) +have some extra left for deadline acquisition. Then trade Burnes after 4 years and maybe T after 2-3 to get something good and avoid the end of their declines.
I don't think we need to trade for our next starter. We already got our ace with Crochet, so tbh, I would be happy if we just got Buehler or even bring Pivetta back. I'm more concerned on getting that explosive righty bat.
I am against trading anyone for anybody right now because, We're a large market and Henry needs to open up his wallet for a free agent. Casas does have power and he fits as a 5/6 guy in the lineup and Abreau can be a 6/7 guy. Can't understand what's going on? This is easy to fix. Fans in Boston deserve better. Sign a RH power guy for the 4th spot and sign another Pitcher I could be a GM.
The M's could just stick with Raley at first. He was worth 3.2 war and 129 ops+. Stole 11 bags, was a great base runner and can play the outfield respectably in a pinch. And he's been pretty healthy throughout his career. 2.2 war is Casas best, and he's already had a significant injury at 23 years old that kept him out for months. If I'm the M's I'm looking for something better in this pitchers market.
I read where the Pirates are open to offering P Mitch Keller , who is signed thru 2029 .. Id rather we go get Keller then Castillo. Plus trading Casas to Seattle for a veteran pitcher...NO! Trading Casas would be plain stupid
@@redseatradioPittsburgh doesn't really train their pitchers very well and I think Keller working with Andrew Bailey would unlock his ton of potential.....as for Pivetta...love the guy but it's time to move on, so don't want him back....
As a mariners fan I can say trading for Wilyer Abreu doesn’t make a ton of sense. Our outfield is kind of set and our need is in the infield. I don’t think the two sides match up as well as it’s been made out to be.
I wouldn't move Casas for Castillo...but he is not untouchable. The injury this year aside, doesn't he have the look of someone who is NOT going to sign an extension? I mean Bello and Raffaella reupped...I just think he has the look of going to the Marlins and being that hometown boy...
I prefer to see J. H. anty up forJack Flaherty or Walker Bueller. However Tristan Casas will still be socking homers long after Castillo is retired. Seattle covets pitching and I don't think they would trade him unless they are thinking about some of the warning signs you were speaking of Corbin. Unless Tarik Skubal is coming back I would not trade Casas to anyone. J. H. is a pain in the neck. They better make sure they follow up and sign Crochet long term . In my opinion giving up the prospects that we did necessitates an extension because I would not be too crazy about giving up Teel & Montgomery for only two years of Crochet. I mean both were early first round picks. I have been reading we are after Santander. Not sure how I feel about that one. Good review Corbin. Thank you. Joe
@@redseatradio Yeah, to do otherwise diminishes your minor league system or you lose a good player at the major league level. As far as position players go we have done a good job building it up to become one of the best in baseball. I want to keep it that way. Spend the money John Henry!
I hate the idea of Castillo. He's older, and all of his major stats have gone nothing but down over the past 3 years. Unless he's traded for a salary dump, and we don't have to give up anything, sure, I'll take a free pitcher, but I'm not trading anybody for that. Stop being cheap af and get Burnes.
A little late to the party, but I think the Sox should make these moves. Trade Abreu to Mariners for Castillo. Trade Casas to Pirates for Jared Jones. Sign cheap first base replacement while waiting for Guerrero next year. I don’t think management wants to spend big on pitching because of high injury risk.
We need to thin out our OF. It’s why I wasn’t as upset about losing Montgomery. Let’s strike while the iron is hot on Abreu and I think we should ask for Henry, their C prospect, for a RoY finalist.
I would love to see them sign Bregman & Pete Alonzo. Also, a 1 year deal for Scherzer or Verlander if they are gonna pitch this year. We could use a few veterans.
I’ve been listening in on Mariners podcasts. 1) their position is that they want major league ready talent, 2) they do not need outfielders, 3) they think Casas is not enough for Castillo. Unless we are going to sign a Christian Walker I am not big on the idea of trading Casas. At the same time there is Pittsburgh media stating that Jared Jones is available. I would like to understand what that price would be… has to be less than Crochet. I am ok with a mid rotation pitcher like a Buehler or Flaherty as depth.
Their points dont make sense. Of their outfielders fans are actively choosing Victor Robles and Luke Riley over Wilyer when he is statistically much better than either. And they are flat out wrong that it would cost Triston and then some espeically if the Sox are taking the money
They need to trade Yoshida. I like the guy, but he's taking up a roster spot. These are 3 reasons: - he's a left handed bat when we have too many - he can't play outfield and only DHs - he costs a lot and is preventing others from playing Let's eat the contract and find a trade partner.
Castillo makes sense (to Henry) it’s just a matter of who do we give up. Seattle needs corner infielders so I don’t think Abreu is the trade bait that’s needed to do this deal. But Castillo for 3 years at around $75M is ok. He would round out an above average staff. Next up is a closer. With the Yankees getting Williams we need to look at a FA like Yates or a trade for a reliever like Helsley.
As an M's fan yes Abreu has better stats but he struck out at 31% clip. That is NOT what we need. We already strike out way too much which makes Abreu very uninteresting and the production isn't that much better than Robles (who had a 154 WRC+ btw) to justify it. Honestly I don't love Casas either but he is a much better fit for the mariners. Would rather just have them sign Christian Walker.
1. I think Wong will come in mote improved on D if only because of the threat of Teel for the last couple years. He improved the bat, I would think he goes to blocking school since the off-season started. Yes, he still may never be a great framing catcher but hitting and preventing wild pitches and pass balls is good enough. Next, Castillo, yes he is a Veteran but so is Giolti and now Houck is entering his 4th season. He may not have oodles of experience but enough and Breslow may have some insight to maintaining effectiveness through 30 starts. Lastly, would you rather not target a Jones or Bubba Chandler or even an Ashcraft and a Mueth for Abreu.
Casas would be a big overpay. Sign Buehler and trafe for a right handed bat like Yoshida/Arenado trade. Sidenote: signing Nate Eovaldi would of been nice but pricey
You were willing to spend $700 million for Soto. I think if you sign both Burnes and Hernandez you might save some of the $700 you were willing to spend and get an ace at the top of the rotation and you get your right hand batter with power.
Corbin how do you feel about Anthony Santander? Switch hitter with power. I am kinda mixed on that one. His batting average is not that good but lots of homers. I guess he is an okay corner outfielder. All this being said I do wish they would get Corbin Burnes. I know its a risk but imagine out starting rotation with him in it.
If there is a 1% chance Toronto is willing to trade Vlad to us, you have to make that happen. I would trade Casas and Abreu for Vlad today and forget about any other starting pitcher. Our pitching can be as bad as they want to be, we will be winning all of our games 10-9.
Not really into it. Would much prefer Walker Buehler. If they could trade Yosida for Castillo then I would be all for it. If they want to throw in your catcher, The Sox could through in Zach Penrod to balance it out. I would be for that. But Buehler is younger and would probably make about the same and would not require a super long contract maybe some options. He also has more upside. If they sign free agents, they can always trade them at the trade deadline to get back prospects. They will have all the players stocked in AAA. It would also be insurance if they have injuries. I am hoping the injury bug does not hit like last year but if it does it would problably be different players than last year, besides Trevor Story. I am expecting him to last till the beginning of June this year. But I am not worried because they have Rafela who can handle it if necessary and Mayer should be near ready if not traded. I am totally against trading Casas for Castillo I could see them trading Abreu and Casas for one of the studs and Christian Walker. It is said that Seattle wants to move him. I remember Breslow saying we would hate the trade and then we would grow to love it. This is the only thing I can think of.
I'm for Mariners. The deal of Abreu for Castillo & Garver seems like a yes deal. However, you may have to show some level of commitment to Castillo as he has a no-trade-clause.
I don't think that is a deal Dippoto will do. He and Hollinder both said they are happy with the OF situation. I would love to add more to it because Robles is a big question mark to me and Raley is slotted to be our 1B from roster standpoint. After that, we don't have much that is big league ready. I don't think Canzone is even bench material with his awful defense. Also, Julio sucked for 3/4 of the season. That's not someone who I would build the offense around just yet. That being said, the IF is far more troubling than the OF. Even JP is on the hot seat.
only way that makes any sense for the red sox is if they are gonna sign Bregman and move Devers to 1st. but they would still need to get more back than Castillo
Really hoped Red Sox signed Byrnes. Henry just won’t approve extended terms for a 30 year old pitcher. Disappointed, Castillo is okay but not the frontline starter we hoped for. I think the Red Sox value for Casas differs from yours?
Luis Castillo is a possibility, but a trade with Seattle involving Triston Casas would be a ridiculous overpay ... I also would fully expect the Red Sox to get more in return if Wilyer Abreu was the prime "trade chip" as well ... Seattle should also "pony up" some of the money in return on Castillo's current 24 million dollar annual salary ... The Red Sox really should find out how Casas progresses over a full MLB season ... I hope the team also remains patient by staying with Rafael Devers at third and Masataka Yoshida as the DH for at least one more season as well... "Patience is a virtue " that could potentially pay big dividends in return for our Red Sox in 2025 ...
Fair trade. Garver and Castillo for Jhostnxon, Gasper and either Fitts or Crawford. I also like Yoshida for Arenado and they pay off half of Yoshida's contract. Devers moves to DH. Flaherty could be a nice pickup, too, since I don't think they want to spend on Burnes and it seems unlikely that they will acquire Sasaki. Though, I'd be ecstatic if we got him. I'd then move Anthony to CF or LF and shift Cedanne to the bench to become a super utility man and late inning defensive replacement. Wong, Hamilton, Cedanne and Ref on the bench.
I don’t disagree with the idea of Rafaela being a super utility guy who can play all three outfield positions plus SS and 2nd base. Then play Anthony or Duran in CF. The outfield could be Anthony, Duran and Abreu if he’s not traded or Anthony, Duran and Teoscar assuming that Abreu eventually is traded for more pitching.
Red Sox would be better trading that signing a high priced FA. When they get the new CBA in 2026 there will be a salary cap and the teams with high payrolls will suffer for years. It would be better for the Red Sox to trade with the Pirates and get Jared Jones for Anthony , Abreu and another top prospect.
Being gun shy is not a good place to be as an owner. It costs too much in the end by not bolstering the team with Burns or trying a trade with Pittsburg. Im not feeling good about Castillo when there's younger choices and talented ones thats my personal opinion. Hopefully they make a better deal than Castillo. They just made a major deal for Crochet you dont follow that up with just ok IMO
I think trading 3 of your top 10 prospects is enough, trading Casas too without getting something similar in return is ridiculous Its not like Castillo is 26 with years of control You can go out and get a FA that is going to equal what you would get out of him.... Mark my words Tristan is going to have a career year in 25. He is going to take off...Plus they have control of Casas until 2028...not a smart move
Get Burnes , Castillo, and Tanner Scott. Smh I like Castillo. Durable pitcher. He has the dawg in him. The guy has played for Cincy and Seattle. I believe playing in Boston he would thrive. He's a 2 or 3 but on any given night he can pitch like a 1. We need guys like that.
Best I think you’d headline a trade like this for is someone like Blaze and throw in another mid pitching prospect. He’s not worth the hassle but wouldn’t mind the experiment for cheap
He most certainly is a more desirable target. Younger, cheaper and higher upside. However, those are the exact reasons why the Mariners won't trade him. You would need to add A LOT to even have the Mariners think about it.
I agree 💯 percent Cases for Castillo is a bad idea. Cora and Breslow this week said Devers is the 3rd baseman. I'd be all for your trade idea. Devers playing 1st base is a terrible idea and I really don't think that would happen. At this point I'd trade Abreau and Masa for whoever they could get. More moves are going to be made and hopefully they will get players that will actually improve the team ⚾
I thought the casas rumors were for a younger starter in Seattle. If it was for Castillo that makes no sense it opens up a hole @ first so now you have to pay Castillo and now pay either a 1b or 3b and move Devers over. For a budget conscious team like boston i think that rumor has no traction. As far as Castillo, I don't hate the idea he would be a 2 or 3 here. Let's face it, henry is not paying for burnes. I don't like it for Casas.
And I would never get rid of Casas you need his Bat on the team his Bat is more important than picking up one of these pitchers I agree with trading Wyler they have an overabundance of outfielders they don't have an overabundance of first baseman that can hit like he does
Mariners are asking too much for Castillo, Red Sox are better off with Buelher and cheaper, if they trade Casas let it be to St.Louis for Arenado and J.J. Romero SP🎉
i think with the departue of emma Valdez they seeking to add a good infielder, could be Vlad could be Arenado? who knows, but we need to reinforce the relievers side aswell 2 couple of strong arms and good set up guy.
God bless 'em...but when did Casas become Babe Ruth?? I think its telling that a team like the Mariners that desperately needs hitting isn't jumping on Casas... Again, he has the look of a guy who just is not going to stay in Boston and if you wait to move him in a couple of years, the return will be greatly diminished.. Sign Pete Alonso you need a RH power bat...Casas to Pittsburgh for pitching if Seattle doesn't bite.
The Sox should go out and sign Trevor Bauer...a legit #2 that they can do a "go out and prove it deal" Unless MLB has a hush hush agreement not to sign him I don't understand why nobody has? Did anyone see what he did last year in Mexico? or the year before in Japan? it makes no sense
So your OK with them trading our farm system because there too CHEAP to pay Burnes and yet you believe that they would have paid Soto 700 million if they don't sign Burnes then I'm done after 50 yrs
One player I never see the Red Sox connected to is gleyber Torres and I’m not sure why because he seems to fill a need a power righty bat now I would also rather have teo or Santander but it could make some sense
If you overpay to get starting pitching with guys that you don't really need to also avoid that super high free agent dollar then you RUN TO DO IT!!!! I would like to see the Sox trade Abreu/Casas/ to the Padres for Tatis Jr. if he could be pryed away.
Everyone on the Seattle side says Casas for Castillo is a gross overpayment for Castillo. A proven SP is worth more than a young 1st baseman who has potential but just missed most of a season.
@@redseatradio The Question is why do Boston fans think Casas is so valuable? Look at Castillo's contract versus performance and compare it to what the recent free agent signings have cost versus their production. Castillo's contract is still a massive bargain comparatively. What has Casas done to warrant all this hype?
You have to look at the total dollars the Sox have to take on, Castillos age and declining statistics. Assuming a players value based solely on their body of work in 1 area and the market around them off of that isn’t the full picture.
I personally would not do it. I don't think the Sox will do it either without Seattle taking on some of the $$ either. 3 Straight years declining, on the wrong side of 30 and the cost of his contract is not what the Sox are about right now. My niece lives in Washington and she has been hearing the reports there, but said yesterday that they might be shifting to more of a Logan Gilbert trade, with Seattle getting Casas & Abreu and a few other prospects. Seattle's thinking is that Gilbert is going to be the first to hit FA and they really want to get a good haul, Castillo will not get what they really want due to his cost and age. Would you do the Gilbert trade if it popped up. They did say it would not be one of the big 3 along with Casas and Abreu. Just something to think about.
Just pay burnes. The spent 61 mil dollars combined on story yoshida and giolitto and they suck. Might as well sign the big ticket guy and see if that works out better then the terrible middle of road guys they have been signing recently
Sign pitching through the market. why pay Bregman long term. when you have a bunch of infield talent on the horizon. I’d much rather take on their auto contract if they could move Yoshida because he’s right handed back veteran guy that can help with the young core. Obviously that’s a lot of ifs, but it makes way more sense to focus the attention on finding a way to get that done in my opinion
Not interested in Castillo if I’m being honest, only if we got him for cheap which is unrealistic. Definitely wouldn’t want to let go of Casas unless we have plans to move Raffy to 1st with other rumors signing a 3rd baseman
Why not trade Masataka for castillo straight up. Seattle will save around 7 millions but castillo is in decline it will be crazy to send abreu a gold glover or casas for Luis castillo. They can go head and sign flaherthy straight up he’s only 29.
Yeah I’d rather take burnes or flaherty but if we do trade for Castillo I hope we give up yoshida and a lower level prospect. Definitely can’t give them abreu or casas unless we are getting Logan Gilbert hah
It just sucks watching other teams adding every year like the Yankees, dodgers and mets. The sox have just as much if not more money but they just don't invest.
This is it! La Piedra! Spanish for The Rock! Let’s bring him home to Boston (home as in he’s definitely has cousins in Jamaica Plain or Lawrence!). When the Red Sox trade for a Dominican Pitcher…it always pays off!! 😏
Nick pavetta would have cost almost the same amount, I don't really care about casas I just want them to make the team better. He's got an ERA under four I'm ready
Casas for Castillo is a waste. Casas is likely a 25-30hr 100 80-100 rbi guy. Castillo is on the downside of his career. Burnes is also trending down the last 3 years. I'd overpay him for 3 years or 5 years max. I'd prefer Walker Bueler.
No thanks. Rather trade for Christian Vazquez and sign Walker Buehler. If Casas is mentioned in any trade, I would expect the return would be a young cost controlled pitcher with at least 5 years of control.
We need Teoscar Hernandez and Burnes. If not we're not gonna compete with dumb trades like this. DON'T TRADE CASAS only because we want to move Devers off 3rd this would be dumb.

@@redseatradio I would like to see Masa obviously and kinda would Wilyer just so Anthony can have an easier road to the show.
No arenado rather have bregman
I honestly think they should give Shawn manea a 3 year deal
I agree with Buehler as well.
+1
This is the guy I wanted to see in trade rumors Castillo is solid
Agreed just spend the money
What about the starting pitchers in Pittsburgh? I heard most of them are available?
Yea but most of them aren’t proven number 1 guys. We need top line starters not guys who could become that
Yeah wouldn’t mind that at all but that is abolutely going to be a haul of a trade
Their logic is to keep their money for their other sports teams
what happen to CORAN BURNS
love the analysis as always Corbin! a few things i'm thinking: agree that Triston Casas for Castillo is an absolute non starter.
Crochet pitched 146 innings last year and he's an ace? No. He's the high upside guy. Now you go get the reliable ace in Burnes for a 1-2 punch
When was Crochet ever an ace? To repeat the last poster...
@@newyoutubehandle Please NO Pivetta. Bueler maybe for a couple of years, as a 4 or 5.
Eh I don’t love Keller I think if that’s what you want you should be perfectly fine signing Pivetta back. I would want a higher ceiling
Agree with you Corbin. Casas for Castillo. NADA
Thank you. Joe
I agree just spend the Monty
@@redseatradio Yeah, to do otherwise diminishes your minor league system or you lose a good player at the major league level. As far as position players go we have done a good job building it up to become one of the best in baseball. I want to keep it that way. Spend the money John Henry!
What Is It.. With Obtaining Players' Past Their Prime.. Analogies? Such.. A Waste Of Time.
Until the Official Redsox Crowbar pry's John Henry wallet open and spend some MONEY ,
the crititism will continue from Redsox Fans...
If we could give up yoshida somehow and give up 2 mid tier prospects I would love that but other than that I wouldn’t like the trade
That’s fair
These are 3 reasons:
- he's a left handed bat when we have too many
- he can't play outfield and only DHs
- he costs a lot and is preventing others from playing
Let's eat the contract and find a trade partner.
This kid has the biggest click bait titles ever😂
Our staff could use a veteran that would help with developing there are plenty that won't need a trade
I love the last Big Trade for the Red Sox did, trading Mookie Betts to the Dodgers. Sincerely Dodger Fan!
I am totally against trading Casas for Castillo
I could see them trading Abreu and Casas for one of the studs and Christian Walker.
The 4.25 era on the road is what scares me. They need another stud at the top
The mariners want MLB ready talent though
Casas, Abreu and none of the big 3 prospects to get Valdez and Tucker and pay Tucker. Wait for Vlady next year.
Who does it take to get Jared Jones? Since he’s “very available”. Would love to see this.
We need 1 more SP 2 RP and 1 solid righty bat. Then it would be a successful off season.
I wouldn't mind Abreu for Castillo and Garver. Abreu will be without a job once Anthony gets here.
Seattle wants a corner infielder, particularly right-handed.
I would absolutely take castillo for abreu not for casas
I don't mind this trade but I don't want to see Devers play 1st. If this happens need to trade Yoshida to open up DH.
Can we get Sasaki? That is the guy I'd love to have even more than Burnes. The Sox can't seem to land any of the big free agents anymore!
is Kirby a more desirable target? Or are the Sox really leaning on "veteran" status from Castillo?
Yeah I think we are going to see some other moves made shortly here
I thought the casas rumors were for a younger starter in Seattle.
If they get anyone, it should be Logan Gilbert.
And I would never get rid of Casas you need his Bat on the team his Bat is more important than picking up one of these pitchers I agree with trading Wyler they have an overabundance of outfielders they don't have an overabundance of first baseman that can hit like he does
I will agree in a trade for kirby or gilbert and we send them abreu and other prospects outside the top 3
Mariners are asking too much for Castillo, Red Sox are better off with Buelher and cheaper, if they trade Casas let it be to St.Louis for Arenado and J.J. Romero SP🎉
It’s all about what would make Henry comfy WWMHC
i think with the departue of emma Valdez they seeking to add a good infielder, could be Vlad could be Arenado? who knows, but we need to reinforce the relievers side aswell 2 couple of strong arms and good set up guy.
What about Sean manea?? He’s serviceable and a free agent. We need a lil more starting pitching
Crawford and Hamilton or a couple mid tier prospects would be fine
The Sox should go out and sign Trevor Bauer...a legit #2 that they can do a "go out and prove it deal" Unless MLB has a hush hush agreement not to sign him I don't understand why nobody has? Did anyone see what he did last year in Mexico? or the year before in Japan? it makes no sense
So your OK with them trading our farm system because there too CHEAP to pay Burnes and yet you believe that they would have paid Soto 700 million if they don't sign Burnes then I'm done after 50 yrs
No I literally said I would prefer they do that. Watch the video before formulating an opinion on my thoughts. Thanks!
Yeah I agree it is way too much
@@redseatradio The Question is why do Boston fans think Casas is so valuable? Look at Castillo's contract versus performance and compare it to what the recent free agent signings have cost versus their production. Castillo's contract is still a massive bargain comparatively. What has Casas done to warrant all this hype?
No one on Seattle's side is saying this. Casas for Castillo straight up is an underpay and would most likely cost boston a prospect as well.
You have to look at the total dollars the Sox have to take on, Castillos age and declining statistics. Assuming a players value based solely on their body of work in 1 area and the market around them off of that isn’t the full picture.
Sign Corbin Burns, because if you don't, the Yankees will.
Anyone associated with the Red Sox who wants to trade Casas , should be fired immediately.
I'm with you on this.
Arenado*** not auto
I would rather have Burnes or Bueller
Casas for Castillo is a waste. Casas is likely a 25-30hr 100 80-100 rbi guy. Castillo is on the downside of his career. Burnes is also trending down the last 3 years. I'd overpay him for 3 years or 5 years max. I'd prefer Walker Bueler.
Casas is one of my all time favorite red sox. If they trade him for an older pitcher I will fucking snap
One of your all time favorites? What? He hasn't done ANYTHING.
I want Burnes period
I would give yoshida and a lower prospect. THATS IT
I don’t hate it but there are better options imo
I would think the Red Sox would of lost their minds if this trade happen.
