i rewatched this gem yesterday. I read the Comics a good while ago , too. i highly recommend them. looking forward to finish this video :) edit: great Video! i absolutely agree on the Ben Foster part, that man killed it as their "Renfield". in one of the Comicbooks their anatomy is discribed a bit, for example their teeth spiral down their throat and every organ has devolved to a clump of tissue except for their hearts and a Blood disgesting organ next to it. I NEVER recognized the Wilhelm Scream and i watched this movie a lot , it might be because of the german dubbing. hopping back to the comics i mentioned earlier , there is a great 30 days of night / X-Files crossover, which is also worth a good read. i am very happy that i stumbled over your channel, may the algorythm always work in your favour.
That's really cool background info from the comics! I've never gotten past the movies, but apparently there were some TV mini-series made too. They were on the long dead Fearnet channel, so who knows if they'll ever see the light of day
This is an important movie to me. I saw a midnight session of it when I watched it for the first time with my friend Garth who unfortunately passed away from cancer this last March.
This is a must watch imo 🎉❤
A great movie and great review 👍
Thanks so much!
