There are lounge chairs there and some hiking trails so you could make a whole day of it if you wanted. Its a bit of a drive though from cancun to xel ha.

great place to spend a day and the food was included as well as the drinks. Best snorkeling was behind the bar or out but the mouth of the lagoon.
