+@duncanidaho6151 this was just one of many times we have been to Yal-Ku. As the years go by, more people come. We didn’t even visit our last trip to Akumal in 2022 due to the amount of buses coming in - even early in the morning. 😞 We’re going back to Akumal in June and maybe we will try again. We’re staying very close to it.

It was a few days after Tropical Storm Gamma and couple of days after Hurricane Delta (both came in the same week we were there - check out our Akumal 2020 playlist to see those videos 😭). But the water was still very churned up from both those storms so we were the only people there. We were determined to get some snorkeling in though since our whole trip was pretty much evacuating from storms. 😂
A great experience. One of my favorite things to do in Akumal. Make sure you go early. In the afternoons it gets crowded.
