I also love how Humble Tech is with his music when he has features. He lets his features shine more than he does, and that's super humble right there. Tech definitely did his thing, no doubt, but purposefully, he let Krizz and Eminem take the spotlight, and that's is super humble right there. Plus, Em even admires Tech for his skill, and wanted to do the verse for free, like how amazing is that? But I think Tech really wanted Eminem to take the spotlight at the end, because of how much of a blessing to get him to do a feature verse.

Krizz Kaliko like a calico cat. Dude is one of the most talented singers/rappers in the game and is STUPID SLEPT ON. He did the second verse and the singing on the hook...kills it all the time like that.

I can see how you definitely are gonna try to go at your limits when you are about to be on a track with someone else very talented and skilled. I would see it as a competition of doing the best and see how well it did with the other ones part. Especially at times when you see something as a competition, you respect it the most. Atleast thats how I like to see it, because where can you really test your skills the best, when not with the best?
Maybe somebody already said it by the time I'm typing this (I didn't see it anywhere) but I believe Em did this verse for free if I'm not mistaken. I could be thinking of his feature on Busta Rhymes "Calm Down" but it may be Em's thing if I remember correctly. If he respects you and what you represent in the hip-hop game he doesn't charge for his features! Which is nuts cause apparently his verses can be worth up to and exceeding $100k 😳. You guys are the best, great reaction!

@Chris Topher Who cares? Nas' lyrics are being analyzed at harvard. Nas' style is way different than Eminem's and Hov's, he more poetic than both of them and is a bit better storyteller than Eminem. Eminem was giving homage to Nas and other rapper on their track. Plus dude, Nas gave almost half the song to Eminem, of course he's gonna have more rhyme schemes.
Tech says Em's part on this track was worth at least $500,000, but Em didn't charge him anything for it. He just asked that Tech will hop on one of his tracks in the future.

It's strange music because the Doors are one of his biggest influences. Check out strange days 2013. He did a colab with the living members of the Doors
Tech is awesome live. Also, everytime I have seen him it has been at a Metal/Rock festival. Not only him but I've seen Ice Cube, Cypress hill, Yellawolf, mgk and many other rappers at those festivals. Uncle Snoop will be at a festival I am going to in September.
Fun fact: the chorus is extremely intentional. One of the first things Tech said at the start was that "Richie Havens would be the man". Woodstock 1969. Richie Havens was the first artist to perform. Just him and his guitar. He did so many encores that he literally ran out of shit to sing. So he made this iconic and soulful add-libbed song called "Freedom" right there and that was his exit. It became an anthem and he still alive and, and has performed it still lol. Tech shouted out an absolute legend and made his song the chorus lol.
I’m a fan of T9 but I hop straight to the Em bit on this track. He’s an absolute monster. His cadence and flow elevates him above all others when it comes to speed rap. Just my opinion. GOAT

Em is my #1 dead or alive, With that said his verse was extremely punch-in heavy, which many rappers do and I’m sure tech9 had some punch-ins too but you can also hear him taking breaths so not near as many as Em. Em can obviously spit stupid fast but IMO tech raps just a bit faster… I could be wrong though.
