Wow, I have to admit I had quite a bit of the problems trying to remember all the steps. It is certainly confusing for me! I may have to repeat this workout several times to get a hang of it. Thank you very much, Lauren! ❤❤❤
YES - that is exactly the point. We are strengthening the brain not just the body and improving neuroplasticity. Keep up the good work. Repeat the video a few times and see how much better you get as you are more familiar with it and as you learn it. Let me know how you do. 💞
Very very good session for me This session forced me to focus & concentrate I had to repeat each exercise 3 times to get a feeling that I got it right Felt very energetic at the end of this Very nice Thank you Loraine Thank you all
Hi Loraine!! So good to know how you enjoyed this session!! Keep up the great work friend, it's always wonderful to hear from you and thank you for your incredible dedication to exercise and movement!!
Thanx Lauren. The good: standing (not chair), challenging, just the right length,ie 30 mins., and above all fun.- The bad: It's easy to get lost (which I did). In the first exercise I found it impossible to move my legs while focusing on my arms. It was almost like there were 2 of me. And then you put it all together at the end at the speed exceeding the Roadrunner. However you did caution us and this is definitely one session I flagged to do again as it was a gem. By the way in future pls let us know where those scenes are. Now I'll be curious til you respond.
Marcel - thank you so much for your comments. They are helpful not just to me but to our other participants. I'm glad you are getting challenged and able to do exercise standing without too much trouble. Good for you!!! The first exercise is a cognitive exercise more than mobility. The legs are VERY optional. Learn the pattern - that's the focus of that exercise. Once you really have that then you try to add the legs but that takes a certain amount of coordination that some people have great difficulty whether you have PD or not. The speed at the end when we put all the exercises together is intentional. I want to make your body move faster than is comfortable or normal. We are fighting Bradykinesia and stimulating all those brain sensors to move more quickly. Keep with it and keep practicing. We are looking for improvement not perfection. Regarding the scenes behind me...that's all Josh our techy. I will ask him and get back to you. hahahahha
Thanks so much for your feedback Marcel, as Lauren said, it is so so useful for us as we continue to develop classes that suit our participants best!! Keep up the great work friend :)
Lauren, is it possible to have little spacers or notches along the bottom time line so we can easily go back to the spots where you teach a new part? I’m sorry I don’t know the words for this and I’m on an iPad so not sure if you’re already doing this and I can’t see it.
Dulce - dont be so hard on yourself. This is a hard and complicated routine. Work on just getting one of the three exercises and see how you do. Once you get that then move on to another of the three. You dont have to get it all in one shot. You are doing GREAT!!!
Great Exercises !!! Thank you very much, Lauren.
