My first view of a nest with a runt that is trying to show how tough it is, pecking it's siblings when the parent begins to try to move it out of the nest.
When you watch the runt finally get thrown out it looks over to its siblings for help and not one went to help it! Usually from watching many nests it’s the females who will go after the sibling and bite them saying “Why aren’t you helping me” the runt caused so much turmoil in this nest in the end the parent and the siblings were definitely HAPPY to see it go.

I’ve seen this same behavior (pecking) from youngest chick at another nest. The youngest chick pecked its sibling when the parents tried to picking him(her) to remove. It looks (s)he wanted to show how (s)he is still strong, activity and powerful to parents. The parents tried to remove him(her) several times for several days but they stopped picking and accepted him(her) when (s)he has aggressive motion. finally, the youngest was survived and fledged. I hope the same miracle is in this nest.

Last year the same thing went down in this nest (however someone corrected my comment from Holland, but we both had the wrong nest). In English, this nest had 3 chicks last year. The runt was just like this one, and the adult female finally tossed it after several days of pecking at it. This runt is acting the same (weird how that works) and the adult is responding the same way. Someone noted last year that the adults toss the runt chicks when they get to a point where they are eating more than their share of food and are creating growth issues for the older chicks. If you watch these nest whacking's they usually come as the runt chick is starting to grow, thrive and eating a lot of food. Last year the runt was aggressive, took food from the other 2 and constantly fought them for the best eating spot. Unlike the raptors, where the oldest rules the chick world, with storks they tend to live and let live, and the oldest only pulling rank rarely, if at all. However, the runts often try to take charge and wind up taking on the others. It's all related to food.

To drastyczne ale chodzi chyba o to by nie marnować pozywienia na najsłabsze pisklę które i tak najprawdopodobniej nie przezyło by długiej wędrówki
To piskle, które Kamisia wyrzuciła z gniazda wychowalo się w Szansie dla bociana w Kozubszczyżnie na dużego, zdowego bociana, który odleciał z innymi młodymi do Afryki.
Szkoda bo juz duze i odchowane
Pisklę to już młodzianek ma na imię Zadziorek odchowany jest w "Szansie dla bociana"p.Kamila Piwowarczyka ,został zaobrączkowany i pewnie o czasie odleci do Afryki

Jakim cudem ludzie polubili bociany, jeśli te zachowują się jak bestie? A może w ostatnich czasach bociany zmieniają zachowanie? Trzeba by spytać najstarszych ludzi, czy bociany kiedyś też atakowały i wyrzucały odchowane młode z gniazda...
Mona bociany nie zachowują się tak jak piszesz to miano zostawił bym raczej ludziom bo to my wymyśliliśmy takie słowo które jednak odpowiada naszym zachowaniom :( jako istotom myślącym , zwierzęta kierują się tylko instynktem przetrwania i przedłużenia gatunku .Bociany zachowują się tak od milionów lat dbając i karmiąc tylko najsilniejsze osobniki które dadzą radę pokonać dystans podróży która ich czeka. Zdarza się iż w dotkliwych suszach i brakach pokarmu pozostawiają tylko te "super silne" przy lepszym dostępie do pożywienia eliminacji jest mniej :)
Mona Zadziorek o którym jest film przeżył upadek i odchowany w Ośrodku 'Szansa dla bociana" i stamtąd odleciał do Afryki ,jego eliminacja nastąpiła zapewne na skutek nienormalnego zachowania (agresywnego) do rodzeństwa i rodziców ,które jest niespotykane wśród piskląt .Dlatego też dostał od nas imię Zadziorek :)
