Kari’s Law:
Does your current 911 infrastructure notify relevant parties that an emergency call has been made from a PBX phone?
Does your current 911 infrastructure allow for 911 calls to be placed without the need for an external digit prior to “911”? (ex. dial “9” for an outside line)
Ray Baum’s Act:
Is information beyond the street address (floor, suite, room, etc.) sent to both internal teams as well as to public safety when 911 is dialed from your PBX?
Does this allow you to locate that caller in less than 2 minutes?
Do you have a mechanism for knowing when devices move throughout the network so that the associated 911 records can be updated?
Is there a means to update those device location records?
Do you have employees who either work from home or frequently travel with a PBX client?
