Traded in a 2022 Chevy Trailblazer LT with 31.3 K miles for a used 2021 Kia Soul LX (red, 29.6 K miles) several weeks ago. Got $375 back, plus $37 from DMV after turning the tags in, am expecting a Service Contract refund (hopefully by June) Really liking it so far. The dealership dropped in a new battery, changed the oil, did the state inspection, and ordered a front license plate bracket; outstanding work on their part. I noticed two small pieces of trim missing; ordered from Arizona, arrived a week later. A small round cap on the rear bumper (right side, “tow eye cap”) and on the inside of the tailgate, a square piece covering the tailight electrics (RH vs. LH) was absent; it fit perfectly. Good to go, all present and correct. My car was built in Korea; some complained about transmission issues, but that all originated from a plant in Alabama, which was disappointing to learn. Do better, Alabama.
My wife and I bought new Kia's on 6/26/21 and both are 2021 models. Wife's car is a Seltos S in Mars Orange and black interior. Mine is a 2021 Soul S in Gravity Grey and Black interior. We love these cars! Both have a feel of quality and are well equipped. Well worth the money. Bought ours at Kia of Cleveland Tennessee.
