    Great video - I really enjoyed the explanation! I am wondering what is the limit for how many particles can be accelerated per one cycle at once? And also, why do we use electromagnets and not neodymium magnets - the cyclotrons will be much more lighter then with similar magnetic field?

      Hi, at higher velocities, due to relativistic increase in mass the particle's frequency of revolution and the oscillating potential's frequency start to go out of phase. This creates a situation where Particle is no longer accelerated. I discussed this in my other video : th-cam.com/video/rOXfm6EezeA/w-d-xo.html

    Does the charged particle have to exit the cyclotron?
    Can the accelerated particle circle around the polarity shift and the reenter the cyclotron if it loses velocity?
    I’ve spoken with a particle accelerator and he said the cyclotron loses weight with circular force
