Very true. What's really getting crazy, is when our craving gets sooooo bad that the voice just says the hell with it, I don't care if these damn things kill me, but I just have to have one. The best thing I have ever heard Chris say is, "You can't reason with the addictive parts of the brain." This is where the problem is.

That's what makes smoking addiction so insidious, it gets inside your head. Weasel it's way in and influence thoughts/actions.

My husband smokes. Ugghh. Makes it so hard for me to quit. I'm 3 days in. Going for 4! Love your videos, Chris! 👍💖

My wife smokes.. I know the feeling... but I usually smoke more.. and I know she won't stop until I have... when I have gone a few days I noticed she smokes a lot less..
So i am going on day 3.. just hitting a 0mg nicotine free vape... hitting it hard... it helps to bluff the lungs... and take the edge off the habit...
Still feel the nicotine withdrawal symptons, but they not as bad as when I just cold turkey...

Hey Chris, needed this video today as I am thinking about that one cigarette. I have found out at 3days in, that I don't really want to smoke as bad as I thought. I rationalize that it's not really as great as I made it out. Breathing the fresh air is doing the trick so far. Thanks so much for your courage to make these very interesting videos. You are blessed, remember that 🙏.

Watched your video's years ago, but I wasn't ready yet. Now I'm stopped 11 days after 20 years of 35 cigs/day. This particular video is actually really good and stands out in the 'series'. Compliments and a big thank you!

@@youcannot9471 I remained clean for 7,5 months. Then I got work related stress and now I am smoking at full level again, but hating it. I know it's wrong, but when stress is gone (max. a couple of weeks) I'll quit. Thanks.

Hey brother, I am so unbelievably depressed…I have everything I could ever dream of…but am so trapped inside my head. This spirit world you must admit exists is overwhelming me because no one will explain to me what’s actually happening…I became allergic to marijuana 4 years ago and when I stopped smoking I realised I was so much better off without it, but last week I got some and felt the insane power of addiction coke full force back into me, so I gave it away as soon as I could…I’m always borrowing money for cigarettes and not having any money for anything else, I just want to know or maybe even help you decide that your doing better without smoking…I want change so bad, I’m losing my mind. You helped me go for a month last year without smoking and I was feeling really good. I don’t know I just needed to let that out. Keep saving lives Chris.

When I quit before, I had a craving so I tried smoking a friend's cigarette. I was unsuccessful because it tasted and felt awful! It definitely didn't start my smoking again, but it may have, and that's a chance I shouldn't have taken. I started again months later, but it was from a different instance of stupidity.

There is no such thing as one cigarette. One pack maybe😂 This is really hard guys. If we could have only one cigarette then we wouldn’t have to quit smoking. I had a friend who could buy a pack of cigarettes, smoke three at a party and then forget about the pack, it would be still there months later. She smoked but never became a smoker! I was not like that! I needed cigarettes like oxygen! I loved it and wanted it all day, if I smoke I will smoke again full on! Only to have to quit again!
