almost half car front disassembly for change head light. How long? 5 hours? Cost change $500.00

Wow, and I thought changing the headlights through the small hole in the header panel was a PITA on our '13 Taurus...

Do you know if this is the same process for a 2016 MKX? I know they have slightly different bumpers but it looks very similar and I know I need to take my bumper off to replace my headlamp assembly. Can’t find a video specifically for ‘16 MKX.

Well good news is I hadn’t had to replace one yet and my MKC is 8 years old now…. Bad news is obviously it’s time to change it. Bulb alone was $140. 🙄

This is ridiculous,, I guess I have to bring it in all this disabling was designed so we have no choice but to take it to the dealership,, under the vehicle like really, great video

Can I not just change the bulb without having to take half the freaking car apart?
