During my high school years in the 70s there was a girl that all the boys wanted. Long blond hair , the type of woman the beach boys sang about in California Girls.
I met her at a party when were in our mid thirties and I didn’t initially recognise her. Short short hair, tattoos, and metal studs in all parts of her still perfectly structured face. When I asked her what was up with the look her answer was she was sick of being pretty. Haven’t seen her since.

I love cara and her personality, but I hope she takes more acting classes and learns how to really step into a role, I feel like she can't be anyone but herself when acting and it can be distracting when watching a movie but power to her👌🏻

Mia B I feel like she's a pretty good actress, just keeps getting the wrong parts. I thought she was amazing in Valerian, the only problem with that was the script was a bit over the place and at certain times lost it's plot. She needs to land a role with a more story-driven movie that features character development, Valerian was more into showing off what it could do with CGI, and Suicide Squad turned Enchantress into a joke. I have yet to see paper towns.

It's a terrible what happened to Cara and also that she has a dog that is clearly scared to death of her. She looked like she'll be lucky to live much longer and her dog's life looks to be in even greater danger. I hope someone rescues her dog with or without her concent. Love the show! There seems to be some technical issues during the Girl Up/Puma segment. The recording freezes and the audio is still going. This is just a heads up. aaaahhhh well I suppose Luc Besson cares waaaaay more about how the character is gonna look like (looks) rather than caring a bit more about their acting skills. Sorry, but in my opinion Cara can be a good actress just like we all could learn to do, but she is certainly not a great actress what bothers me is that there is are so many more talented strong women who could actually EARN the roll rather than just...offered. Not hating on Cara though I like her she need better acting classes, just trying to be objective and honest but love cara seriously amazing human being plus gorgeous

And even though it's the lead role, it doesn't seem like it's a part that requires a Meryl Streep type level of acting lol. Another thing to consider is that the studio also has a lot of influence as far as the casting and Cara has a HUGE social media presence, which is something clients in the industry now look at when casting. ( happening in the fashion industry too- look at Gigi Hadid n Kendall Jenner getting all these huge campaigns)
that was exactly my point. Cara "earned" her leading role on this huge movie because of who she is and has and not because she was talented enough to play the role which I find unfair in comparison of other REAL talented actress they could've casted, I get it nowadays its all about the hype (Rihanna is other example and coincidentally she is also a part of this movie). And yes, of course you can tell the part wasn't meant to give you chills because of the great acting, I'm just saying judging by the little clip at the beginning she is not a good actress...at least yet. what's empowering about a below normal bmi woman in a fight scene with 2 normally fit men. its so painfully staged it makes me cringe. In real life both Chelsea and Cara together wouldn't win in a fight against 1 of those men. its seems kind of disingenuous and counter intuitive to say a staged fight scene is an example of female empowerment and proves women are strong, maybe a ronda rousey fight, not this though...just dumb.
