I wish the arcade repair tips would come back strong, changing the cable plug was the first one I seen and it helped me a lot… Please bring this back, a lot of us restore and repair cabinets and can use all the help we can get!

Hey there @OneLovePsych! Thanks for your kind words about our content. We're glad to hear it helped you out. We would love to go back to doing the topic-style videos that we did in the past. Unfortunately, our schedules no longer allow for this. Hopefully this will change at some point in the future. Until then, please consider checking out our Live Show episodes that take place on the first Thursday night of the month at 5:30 PM CT. Thanks again and good luck with your future repairs.

    lukem23,
Thanks for your interest in our videos. We usually get our games from arcade auctions. The biggest company for arcade auctions is Super Auctions. Just do a google search and they should come up.
We also like to watch eBay and Craigslist for arcade games in our area. This is pretty hit or miss depending on where you live.
Thanks again for your comment and make sure you check out the Arcade Repair Tips web site for more information.

I just bought a Mortal Kombat 3 arcade machine and everyone thought I was crazy for doing so. Wonderful to find others who are as crazy as myself: D
Unfortunately there were some problems with the machine, there were no keys to the locks, the Run button for players 1 was broken and the screen was not adjusted right. Your videos really saved my ass! I've been watching all morning and I love them! Love from Sweden

Thanks for making your videos. I was planning to go to my local (last..) arcade near here for my 30th birthday, only to find out they had gone out of business the weekend before. (bummer..) but I ended up getting in touch with the owners and ended up buying a machine instead. I intend to gut it (??) and put in a setup that will run emulators, but these basics to learn are good to know. I have to admit I'm pretty terrified of removing the monitor / charge, and debating whether I can just hire someone to do it professionally. I'm mostly just hanging onto the cabinet itself and intending to gut everything else and redo the controls etc etc.
Anyways, rambling aside I appreciate the knowledge dispersed here.

Ha, I see you're a fellow Cowboys fan. Man I miss the 90's, been a while since we've been to a Superbowl. God bless Jimmy Johnson.

Hexagon shaped socket on the end. Not an octagon. Hexagon is six sides. Love the videos.

Nice, simple start. Lo-res is not a big problem at this stage. Hope it improves.
I especially like the absence of marketing, bashing, nasty attitude, etc. that dominates other channels.
