BUCKY!!!! Im obsessed w/ Built not bought episodes, this BNB #22 perhaps might be your best episode of the BNB. But ive learned countless tips & perspectives from you Bucky! The best Subaru subscriptions I truly enjoy 😎💪🏾👍🏾
Replacing all the rubber with braided or stainless, good pads and the right fluid can do wonders for braking performance. This route can save you some cost and unsprung weight as well. Really digging this channel
@@BuckyLasekOfficial Bucky! Loop some fishing lines onto your gopro in case it flies off pr the mounts fail so when you do runs it doesnt fly off into the abyss
Saw you on hoonigan. This car is beautiful. I used to skate back in the day so you got an immediate subscribe. You were an inspiration to us 12 year olds in the early 90s. Also I'm a fellow Subaru owner 06 wrx fully built 323whp/ 354wtq. Now i need a clutch, it only lasted 30k miles then started slipping. I parked It a year ago and bought a used 4runner (reliable transportation). You just motivated me to get back after it and drop the transmission after watching this video.
Awesome ride! Have a 97 L coupe, just did full WRX swap. Have the same door panels as well. You have inspired me even more! Have body work to do and decide color. Always a work in progress! Plus my GC8 4 door rally x car as well.
So sick! Came from the hoonigan vid and just binge watched the entire build. Subbing for the future performance upgrades and definitely more driving vids like this.
hahah at 2:51 i feel you bro, my dude went ahead of you trying to show off, then couldnt handle the canyons!! gotta come through to the local canyons down here in the valley, spunky canyon something youd love
The Bucket looks like a blast! Hey Bucky, might take a minute at first but how about dropping a list of mods/upgrades in the description of the video then just adding to it as you go? Itd be really cool to see the progression of it written out as well as what we've seen this far visually 🤘🍻
I wonder how Buckit would stack up against those other cars on a track that's wide enough to allow for more overtaking. It looked like you were absolutely carving up that road after the bike let you pass. Your car is a freakin' monster dude!
Here in europe we use DBA disc's and ferodo or hawk brake pads. They even do a great job on track. What you need is a build IAG engine with a garett gtx 30.76 or a gtx35.82 to some those hp cars. Great roads you got there and some great people to run with.
Dude that car is sick I love the setup. I just got me a salvaged Subaru and am rebuilding hoping to get the speed you got on it. But ya know the Fa-20 isn’t always the best 😂. Ej for the win
Twistys are where these old girls show their true worth, love the video mate 🤘🤘 DBA make great rotors for these era Subaru’s, I have them on my 99 WRX.
The T3’s 4000 are a decent rotor and will probably be what you need for spirited driving and track days. The fronts part numbers are DBA4654S-10 and the rear if you have a 316mm diameter rotor is DBA4655S-10. Infamous Performance and Tuning in Escondido look to be the closest to you and carry the DBA products . www.dbausa.com Just cross check those part numbers are for your brembos mate, from the looks of your instagram I think they’re the right ones but i’d hate to give you wrong info 🤘🤘
BuckYeah yeah they are mate. They have a kangaroo paw pattern for the inner ventilation vanes which is apparently more efficient than the straight cut by 20%. DBA has been making rotors for WRX and subies forever so they’re pretty proven, hope this link helps you out my man!! 🤘🤘
hell yeah, palomar runs are the best. RIP to the go pro lens that's why I only do in car with that very same model. Anymore footage of the south grade?
Before you even said what new car he got i was like "Its a damn Porche GT3, it has to be" lol. They seem to be the hot ticket of choice recently for everyone that has cash. Theyre amazing cars. I bet Porsche doesnt mind. I think a lot of it came down to how many Porches were ran and did quite well during GT3 and GTE racing as that has been blowing up in popularity lately as well. The GT3 class is either hated or loved because its considered "easy" so to speak to a lot of purists. With enough cash you can buy them race ready, throw together a team and driver, and race events. Sorry for long winded comment.
Just a tip from someone who broke their thumb while driving a rally car and hitting a boulder, try your best to keep your thumbs on the steering wheel and not inside it. Glad to see you rocking 9 & 3!
Of course, I know you've raced RallyCross and are well aware. I just think it's good practice, even while driving on back roads. Be safe and stay healthy Bucky!
Hay! Bucky. I'm still on slow data. But tomorrow I should be getting my SSI money to pay for my card for my cellphone. And I had an idea. U should build another car. The 80s style Subaru's into a lil beast... modified it and all. Find away to. That be kool way to building 80s style like early 80s. But be fun to do I'd think. Just a lil project to do
Hey Buck. Can you make a video on suspension details? you got a lot wider than the factory set up.. what did you do to make sure the handling will improve? Hope you see this. Keep up the good work!
@@BuckyLasekOfficial Gonna put a lot of wear on the clutch pack of the DCCD though. Better to fix your alignment =) You factory DCCD or DCCD pro/spider? I forget...
Nice video! Love the sounds too 🤘😎🤘 Question though...I was under the impression you shouldn't set it to full lock on dry pavement?? I thought it would tear up your diffs.

Ezequiel1974 DCCD (Driver Controlled Center Differential) The switch makes it go from auto the Manual in which he put the diff all the way up locking the center diff.

What did you use to extend the fitment of the wheels for such a wide body compared to the standard 22b kit, like what axles and stuff?
I have hub centric spacers.
What’s the switch that you pressed for?
Ezequiel1974 DCCD (Driver Controlled Center Differential) The switch makes it go from auto the Manual in which he put the diff all the way up locking the center diff.
Cayden March on the newer models if you lock the DCCD up on asphalt it damages it?🤔
Ezequiel1974 My tow is out in the rear so full lock keeps it pointed straight and stable.
Does Pagid make something for this one? Pads they should, but what about disks?
Lambros Stamos Yeah, I’m looking into some Pagid yellows and some floating rotors before going to a big brake setup👍🏼
