It’s a real shame that EarthBound never even sold 100K copies back in the day, cause this is one of my favorite games of all time. It’s a good thing Nintendo kept bringing this game back on future consoles, to give more fans the fantastic experience.
Real. I played Earthbound for the first time last year and it was just amazingly, mindblowingly ahead of its time. Everything about it is innovative and awesome. It might take my #1 spot for the greatest boss battle ever created. And from someone who doesn't play a lot of RPGs and usually gets annoyed at retro games and quits, it delivers in the fun department as well.
honestly the most beautiful part to me is the organ. also interesting that the chords for the main verse seem to be G to Am as i always heard them as C to F
