After spending billions of dollars from the unlimited hard work of poor people, we are providing free water through this dam to the rice growers with millions of acres of land getting from Raj or generals through army rule. Most of this rice will be exported and the remaining will be sold at a jacked high rate to the common people. The agriculture-based GDP countries are the poorest in the world. The reason is that 2 acres of agricultural land will consume a lot of natural resources, pollute the land with insecticide and fertilizers, water logging, poor yield, very low employment, and poor rate of return. Instead, a small factory in the same area can uplift the life of the whole community by consuming low resources. Also, the agro-based countries have very poor literacy rates.
