How does this not have more likes. So beautiful. I just picked up my ukulele after two years, and I can already play this full song with your help. You are a terrific instructor. Thank you for this. This song is so beautiful on the ukulele it is painful
I am shocked, I have been playing for little over a month and decided to give this a go not expecting much. I succeeded. The high is reminiscent of the first time staying above the water when learning to water ski.
You are the best Uke teacher on You Tube hands down. No one else teaches such well structured, interesting, great sounding and easy to follow and learn guidance as you do. You are amazing and an extremely talented musician as well as teacher. Because of you I love Ukulele and have a high G and low G uke and I have got my friends and family to also start playing. You are such an inspiration!! I am so grateful that you are sharing your gifts with the world and uplifting and enriching the lives of many. Thank you so much Cynthia. Looking forward eagerly to Parts 2 & 3 of a tune I thought I would never be able to play, but now I can because of you.
I never even considered trying to learn this song. I'm glad I took a few minutes to watch. It's so much fun and is helping me learn fingerpicking. Thanks!!
Hi Cynthia, I cannot thank you enough for your generosity of spirit and knowledge! You're an amazing teacher and many of us uke beginners are stoked to have such great tutorials. You represent the best of Hawaii! Thank you once more! Brian
Heyyyyy Cynthia, thank you much for being an Amazing Amazing teacher. I purchased my Ukelele in Jan this yr. and only because of u I am able to understand music much better now. My strumming and chord transitions have improved big time in 7 months, I have been regular ;) with my practice. Your 1st 6 lessons for beginners were the main crux of my learning. I spent 4 to 5 months just practising those 6 play through (3 little birds to brown eyed girl ) again n again and now I cud see how I am able to pick your other tutorials much faster. I love you and all the very very best for your future endeavours. Keep posting, keep smiling like always you do :)(:
You're so amazing Cynthia. I mean how detailed and userfriendly, and slow-motion your teaching is, is so wonderful. I bought a guitar, but just cant seem to get into it since I cannot find anyone on youtube who teaches guitar as slow and detailed as you teach the ukelele. And just becuase of this I am so tempted to buy an ukelele and throw the guitar aside. And simple becuase it has 1 less string :) Keep up the great work!

You are a great teacher! Thank you for your generous tutorials. I was so frustrated with my playing until I found your videos. Each time I "take a lesson" I am reminded that slow and steady wins the race, which is such a relief of self imposed pressure.
Cynthia, I can't thank you enough for teaching us how to play the ukelele! My 8 year old son and I are on our second song with you! We can't believe it, it has been our goal to learn, and I can't thank you enough for making these wonderful videos! You are truly a gift for us all! Thank you!
Hi. Thanks for this. Im just a beginner playing on ukelele and it really help me understood how to do it (The plucking) Others make it more complicated but you it was so easy. Good teacher as they say. Thank you very much. ❤😊
Ooooooh please Cynthia, part 2 and 3 please please please, I follow you from Paris, and Thank you soooo much for all you do and the way you do it !! For sure, you're the best teacher !
I have learned more from watching 3 of your videos today than I have from anywhere else in the past 3 months. Thank you! This is literally the first time I've ever plucked to a song! 😆EEEEE! I'm so happy I found your channel!
Just started learning the Ukelele as I commence my retirement. Thank you for this great tutorial, one of my all time favourite rock bands. I’m determined to nail this song.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have been mucking around with random chords with no tune for a while, and this is my first tune ever! I watched you for about 5 minutes and got it! Great teaching skills, who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Look forward to learning more from your videos. Thank you again, keep up the good work.
you're the best teacher ever, i've just gotten my first ukulele and i couldn't find a good video to learn how to play something but you've just taught me how to play my first uke song ever in 20min!! thank you so much
You are a wonderful teacher. By far the best! I’ve been t teaching myself with your music which I printed out but watching these tutorials as cleared up so many questions I had and I’m really getting it so thank you. I’ve been playing for four weeks and I can play this song already. Thank you. Really.
Cynthia thank you sooo much ...at 49 I have never played an instrument before but had been throwing around the idea of getting something ...watching Grace Vanderwaal on Americas Got Talent put the Ukulele in my minds eye but i feared getting one and watching it gather dust...It was YOU who got me to come to the decision to purchase one and YOU who helped me to fall in love with the gift of making music...Thank You sooo much...I am very much a beginner but thanks to you i feel comfortable strumming and now getting more comfortable finger picking by the day... and thanks to all your patrions for the wonderful choices of songs they request from you....i have my low G strings on order ...and i can see a new uke in my future as im sure the swapping out strings will motivate that decision..you are a blessing to everyone wanting to learn how to play this beautiful instrument and a testament to the fact that we are indeed created in Gods image...once again Thank You!
Thank you so much! It's the first song I ever learned to play. I was about to give up on music and thanks to your patient, super slow and lovely way to teach I will continue trying!
Iam just learning & encouraged with what you're teaching. Finger picking not just strumming adds so much more as strumming alone doesn't seem complete.
You are very beautiful. Just wanted to say that first. I have been taking guitar lessons for a few months now and I cannot seem to build calluses and as much as I love the guitar, I am fearful when I pick it up. I was looking at different instruments, i.e. classical guitar. Then I stumbled up on your videos and I am sold. I think I found the instrument I would like to learn. Im super excited!
I really love how you are patience and actually teach the song I really can learn a lot just from watching the video thank you for all that you doing have struggle for a year to play and I bought a ukulele and now I love it better than regular guitar
Hello Cynthia, this is the best tutorial for a song on Ukulele I have denn so far on TH-cam. And believe me I have seen a lot. Many thanks. I appreciate your help and kindness. Greetings from Berlin, Germany.
To do most of your tutorials dear Cynthia, what type of ukelele should we get? A high G, or a low G? I mean this particular song is better with a low G, but what about all your other tutorials in general? What else should we keep in mind. Coz you're the only reason why I want to learn this, and I'd like to adapt easier to your tutorials. In short what percent of your tutorials are in high G and what percent in low G. Thanks ;)
most of my tutorials are hi G - i think it's better for beginners to start with a hi G and add a low G uke when you're ready for your second. i do think i'll be adding more low G tutorials in the future.
Been a guitar and piano guy all my life and neve thought much of the ke. Got my first uke a couple of days ago snd am just begininning to realize how much I have been missing. The uke is si very flexible in so many ways. Live to chat more, but I just want to get back playing my little uke!!!! I am quickly falling in love!

I am having fun learning ukulele and your tutorials are very good. I'm working on Stairway and enjoyed very much your Sound of Silence. Thanks much!

Hi Cynthia, thanks for all your tutorials! Your teaching style is very easy to understand and keep up with; it is deeply appreciated.
