5:31 "You can also connect a hard drive via USB-B". The information you give is incorrect. The USB-B input is meant as digital input for USB Audio 2.0. You can (for instance) connect a PC to that USB connection to send a PCM or DSD digital stream. It is not meant for an external hdd at all!
How is it different than other competing product at this price? I am not trying to put Hegel down, just trying to find out what value I get from this product.
Dual mono design in amp stage gives you separates/mono bloc like performance in a single chassis with built in DAC and streaming capability. Also, SoundEngine is pretty effective. I have not been able to stop listening-seriously. This piece really is exceptional sounding.
