I've tried LipSense before and that shit does not come off. They didn't say it in the video but you have to buy a special makeup remover because standard make up remover wipes or liquid Will NOT remove LipSense. I scrubbed the hell out of my lips for 10 minutes with a couple different removers and there was still pigment. AFTER 10 MINUTES! I didn't find out until later that their special remover is basically just witch hazel, but, I'm not even kidding when I say that I was ready to go get some sand paper and scrape the top layer of skin off my lips just to get it off.
NinjaNerd007 You can use any make-up removing cloth.... you can buy them for like 10 dollars and it’s like a reusable makeup wipe.
I know this is a year late but using an oil cleanser/cleansing balm and a wash cloth makes it come off easier

You have to remember to re apply the gloss because that's what seals in the colour

You don't have to reapply color. So just carrying the gloss with you, swiping on before a meal especially, will help keep the color protected and your lips moisturized. you don't even need a mirror for this.

As somebody who wears lipsense, the key to a perfect lip is always gloss! The only thing that needs reapplying throughout the day is gloss, really. Whenever your lips feel dry or the pigment starts to flake off, just add gloss!

I agree but also they didn't clean their lips before they applied, they didn't shake it either before applying, and they didn't wipe off excess color to make sure they put on a thin layer so that it would dry before putting on next layer.

I am a lipsence distributor and I saw a few things that they did wrong. There Lips weren't dry or clean to begin with. And they only needed 3 VERY thin layers of color on there Lips, letting each layer dry in between. Also, glossing is the most most most important thing. It seals the color in and stops it from flaking or drying out. Gloss before you eat and after. If you feel the Lips are dry....add some gloss.
I think if they would've done the process right the results would be soooo much better!!

I'm not sure if they did this step or not but I know you are supposed to shake the product really well before applying. Shaking it will stop it from chipping so much. Also, reapplying the gloss helps lock in the color and hydrate your lips. When I applied my color it didn't burn my lips so they must have been pretty hydrated.

We wear this in the red shade for colorguard competitions and parades. It doesn't go anywhere! For our state competition we woke up at 3 AM to do our makeup out on the lipsense and it stayed on through our 21 hour day without reapplying. I have found that chapstick will remove it the best, and the burning sensation when you apply goes away the more you use it. Love that you guys tested this lipstain!

Lipsense is an MLM, which means the people who make money in the company generally make money off screwing over low-level distributors. I did some research on this when Saf did her video and it looks like they do sketchy stuff like allow their distributors to pay for and order heaps of product that they never ship them because it's not in stock. So the company and higher distributors get money from the order of products, but the lower distributor is out that money and can't make it back by selling the product because they don't have the product. Also, even though the 24-hour lipstick might actually be decent for what it is, they also check the box of "psudo-scientific claims about their product" typical to MLMs with crappy products.
Please at least acknowledge the product you're testing is from a company that is just a disguised pyramid scheme. Even of you don't use those exact words, just a disclaimer about how the company has some iffy management practices or something.

Yup it as well as companies like Younique are just crazy pyramid schemes that really make money from selling product to distributors that get stuck with it. Last Week Tonight did a whole segment about it. Also i've seen real beauty bloggers review this stuff and talk about how much it destroys your lips since it's mostly alcohol.

First of all, a bunch of people on TH-cam have already tried it, not really an original idea that needs to be copied from safiya and second of all she uploaded her video at May 23 night (check her twitter), pretty sure ladylike shot this whole thing in the morning. So there it is, nobody copied anyone
We use this lipstick for dance competitions which can last up to 14 hours a day and it works really well!
