I assembled my PC 4 years ago, with the same idea of SSD & HDD combination. 256GB SSD for C Drive and 3TB HDD for storage. Till now its working perfectly. Guys its a smart move, implement it and see the difference.

In 2021, I replaced my C: drive with SSD, and believe me, my laptop is running 10x faster and my laptop seems new even after 8 years.
But, I also used my old HDD as external storage by buying a case. So I am happy enough ☺️

Don't buy MSata, its old and obsolete tech, 2.5 inch sata ssd is better and cheap than MSata with similar speed. All ssd have similar speed except NVMe PCIe ones which are 10 times faster but more costly.
