@@joeyphillips1181IMO ‘17 was our best defense. Played 4 top10 teams and only allowed a combined 5 TDs against them. Held 2 of those top10 teams to 1 TD combined/13 total points. Most points we have up was 26. Only gave up more the 2 TDs in a single game once and didn’t allow more than 1 TD in 9 games. UGA’s ‘21 defense gave up 3 TDs to Jameson Williams alone. lol.

@@Jwalkiin yeah the 16 team had Daron Payne & Williams on the D line too.. this year we have Eboigbe but he's not quite a Jonathan Allen.. he might actually be as good as those others though Eboigbe has been a little underrated all year
No hate to Clemson but I am an Alabama fan and the last play where Clemson scored was an elegal so Clemson didn’t REALLY win but the ref didn’t call it!
Yeah they stole that one from us.. at least this team didn't go out like that last time we played Clemson.. that's the only national championship that I feel like Alabama truly lost.. they let Trevor Lawrence throw all over them this team took it to the wire at least
Clemson didnt have an answer for Scarborough, if he doesn't get hurt bama wins by 10. For that matter, Eddie Jackson was the alpha leader of a group of alphas on the best defense of the saban era. After he tore up his leg against Tennessee, the vibe changed. The team energy just felt different. No doubt if Eddie doesnt get hurt Bama goes back to back. yea, it does remind me of that 16 defense. Only thing we're missing is that johnathan allen type player. That dude was unstoppable in college.
