I tested that by changing the settings wildly and then quoting the maono app on the computer and the settings remained changed. Perhaps I should have restarted the computer to make sure. Yes. It comes off. I took it off while I was testing it. There is a recessed ring around the mic for the shock mounted so it doesn’t slide off which is nice.
