@@eazidiy that's not helpful...what WIRE COLOR BEHIND THE RADIO? How can you not understand that this tutorial isn't complete without wiring explained.
@VegasAlex702 Excuse you! If you pay close attention to the video I mentioned the reverse trigger wire. It is a brown wire. The color for reverse wire differs for each manufacturer of the Android radio. Please look at the manual of your radio for details.
@eazidiy I ended up tapping a red wire in the driver side kick panel for the reverse trigger wire to install on my 2011 venza that had no factory backup camera.
@@eazidiy got you ! I was asking because mine do have a back up camera so that means all I gotta do is connect the reverse camera with the new stereo I will be getting right.
@THEBOSSKEVIN you must know the right wires to connect to to hook factory camera to aftermarket radio. Sometimes, it may be complicated. Check owners manual or search online for wiring diagram.
I really appreciated this video. I just upgraded to a similar but smaller android version in my Venza. Three questions. It looks like you had two left over factory unused connectors and you say this is from the amp (which you and I don't have)? So I didn't miss anything? For steering wheel controls only the vol up and down and channel + - will map? No way to get the mode button on the steering wheel to do anything? Or former phone buttons? You decided to just use the single antenna into the radio. How is the performance? There are adapters to combine the antennas together, but not sure it is worth it. Wondering your thoughts. Thanks again for your video.
Hello, you didn't miss anything as long as your radio do not have a factory Amp. The SWC function could be your radio issues. The second antenna wire was for Sirius XM which is not needed. The client I installed the radio for has no complaints so far.
@@eazidiy I can come to you how much you charge to set up all u did in video? I just bought 2013 venza and does this screen connect IPhone as well? Like TH-cam etc
Hello i got a question the steering buttons function? Or need another adapter for that?
You do not need another adapter for the type of radio used in the video
Hi
My car is 2011 toyota venza
Do I just buy the same tesla head unit like the video or i need to buy additional harnesses.?
Just buy the radio. It comes with the Toyota harness.
How would u access the hazard lights/double transfigator
There is enough behind the radio and the hazard light.
Can the old back up camera just connect to it instead of installing the new one of comes with?
I think there is a way but it is kinda complicated. You need to have the wire diagram of the car to determine which is fir the camera.
Thank you for this video.
Could you please share the link of the extension cable
You are welcome, here is the link amzn.to/49yWTGE
Where did you tap the reverse wire trigger for the radio?
Behind the radio and in the trunk at the reverse light.

@VegasAlex702 Nice one!
Wait so your car didn’t already have a back up camera if you had to do all that for reverse camera?
The model of the car didn't have a camera. Also, a new android radio was installed.

Is this for your car...if so how do you like it? Do you recommend the upgrade? Is the unit reliable? Any issues with noise or anything else?
