Surprised they didn't talk about the episode where Ben dies, specifically the ending, or Dr. Cox's breakdown after losing the 3 patients. Those were some of the best, most emotional scenes in the entire show. John McGinley really didn't get enough recognition in this behind the scenes, his acting was terrific in this show.
This show along with Firefly is one of a rare few that seems to stick with me over the years and one of those that I really try to learn more about (behind the scenes etc) just because its that good.
Nope.. only show you can watch 10 times over excluding season 9 and still enjoy it. That's the magic comedy has that other genre's don't have. Knowing the story doesn't ruin the joke.
There is no such thing as season 9. Scrubs ran for 8 seasons. Scrubs: Med School ran for 13 episodes. One if the proper show, and the other is the spin-off that Bill Lawrence only did because the crew from the original scrubs needed the work.
@lelwut - It had potential, and I would have liked to see it go on for a bit longer, but it wasn't season 9. It was a spin-off of Scrubs, not a continuation.
What about JD's brother?.. And the JD-Janitor relationship, which was one of the best character dynamic in the show? And the mystery around the janitors real name and personality?
when they were talking about guest appearences they forgot two i definately remember but i cant remember their names so i shall call them by their previous acting roles 1) Lando callirisian 2) Sulu (from star trek)
@GaaraKazekage16 Relationships are so fragile. It just takes one thing, one tiny little fence and it can (snowball) on ya. Like a mini snowball on a snowy hill, and it just rolls and gets bigger on its own. Uncontrollably
What does Dr. Cox say while talking about relationships? He starst "Relationships are so fragile. It just takes one thing, one tiny little fence and it can....on ya." and I didn't understand that one word.
Watching this, particularly when they talk about the pilot episode, reminds me of how good the first few series of Scrubs were, before they dropped the ball and stopped being that funny or realistic any more. Seasons 1-4 are some of the best tv I've seen, a perfect blend of comedy, character development, drama and medical plots. Season 5 had some great moments but you could see the slide happening, then season 6 onwards was disappointing in the extreme from where they had once been!
What I like is the absence of fake laughter and the fact that you are allowed to laugh whenever you feel like it:)
Exactly

Well I think this was filmed between series 3-4, so maybe the episodes hadn't been done yet.
funkyfranx Ah, good point, I didn't know when this was filmed. I think Ben's Death was still before that, but not the other episode I mentioned.
ArmorOfGod I believe its season 3 DVD bonus footage. I'll have to check
ArmorOfGod
This is actually from the season 1 extras. Every one of these moments they chose are from season 1.
This is probably the only show where the guest actors act great both humorously and in the serious moments... I miss scrubs
There has never been a better show since this.
Brendan Fraser actually wanted to be in two episodes? What a champ!
Scrubs slapped so hard.
There’s never been a show like it.

@lelwut I know that, and you know that. But there are a lot of people who still call it "season 9", which it never was. Just season 1 of the spin off.
i love 2:00. it seems like sarah and john are really good friends. i love them together!
What about JD's brother?..
And the JD-Janitor relationship, which was one of the best character dynamic in the show?

@GaaraKazekage16 Relationships are so fragile. It just takes one thing, one tiny little fence and it can (snowball) on ya.
Like a mini snowball on a snowy hill, and it just rolls and gets bigger on its own. Uncontrollably
