Clarification about some details (since at the end there it seemed you guys were getting a little confused on the exact details of what was said?): There are two moms and one dad - specifically Summer Rose was Ruby's birth mother and helped raise Yang but when she 'left for a mission and never came back' (aka almost certainly dead given the majority of those killed by Grimm are probably eaten/declared MIA), little Yang learned about the existence of her birth mother, who was apparently on a Huntsman team with Summer, Qrow and the dad and left the family shortly after Yang was born, apparently choosing to leave Yang in the process. As for the school's security... Officially the bad guy trio are claiming to be from Haven Academy as it seems that students from other Huntsmen schools are allowed to attend the Academy of the Kingdom holding the Vytal Festival (in this case Beacon Academy in the Kingdom of Vale) so most likely either they've somehow managed to get official documentation from Haven Academy or they've managed to forge the documentation well enough that Beacon Academy didn't suspect anything odd about it. Given *Jaune* managed to fake transcripts for himself it honestly could be either but I'd say you're pretty on the money there in guessing the schools aren't prepared for infiltration... (Side note: In V2E2 Neptune said he and Sun also came from Haven academy and Sun's comment in episode 6 here of "Hey I may have moved to Mistral but I grew up in Vaccuo" heavily implies that Haven Academy is in the Kingdom of Mistral so... Make of that what you will~ XD) Anyway, very much enjoying these reaction vids (both your observations and theory crafting are a ton of fun) and looking forward to future vids

Of the channels that are caught up, a really good solo reactor is “theduckgoesmoo” and one of the most popular group of reactors is the “Sirs & Madam’s Entertainment” crew (although the first reaction video is of Volume 2 Chapter 1 since the people reacting had already seen Volume 1 before they started making videos)
Great reaction! I love this episode so much. The one thing I wish they did differently was make Yang’s party outfit stand out more. She said “I’ll be turning heads tomorrow” but her dress is just plain white. All of the other RWBY girls have something unique about their dress for the dance.
Why are you surprised at Polarity being Pyrrha's semblance?! That was said since volume 1 and you even saw it full potential during the food fight in volume 2, it wasn't any secret for the audience 😅
Pretty sure she did lie to everyone by showing her power can only affect object. But in reality she can easily beat anyone by affecting human directly. She hide because she don't want people to evaluate her based on what she can do. That's why she understand John feeling when he reveal that he lie about his resume.

One of my favorite episodes, episode 5. Both episodes are great. They don't feel rushed. Pacing is great. Yet there is so much story packed in. Pyrrah is awesome. Also best wingman. Back story on Yang was great. Great interactions between team members of RWBY, as well as JNPR.
Cinder, Emerald, and Mercury managed to sneak in because teams from other schools are showing up in preparation for the tournament at the end of the semester, but they still need the classes so they are going to class with the regular Beacon students.
Spoilers The “Nope” runs in the family Ruby to Jaune in Volume 1 when she’s talking to him about being a leader and Jaune says she’s not the easiest person to talk to about leadership: Nope Yang when looking for Ruby in the Emerald forest right as she runs into a pair of Grimm: Nope Qrow when Ruby asks if he missed her: Nope Raven when she sees baby Yang: Nope
Blake was not right, YANG WAS ABOLUTLEY RIGHT 😅 Think about it, the school being attacked, and Blake can't fully fight because she was not rested, she would sucumb after a few grimms or assasins, Yang was right, you must be ready, and you only will be ready if you sleep first.
I love seeing Sky suffers everytime an episode ends while Sky in intense mode ww And i love how sky overthink lot of things included making the needle theory LOL
It's awesome you two are back on the RWBY trail!! Had me thinking for a minute..... These two chapters gave us so much. Cinder & her crew are doing some serious scouting here. But, for what?? Meanwhile, Yang's backstory gave us even more to think about, and began the famous Bumblebee ship!! And Jaune..... Poor guy. Just doesn't see what's before him. But, the party is only starting, guys. Imagine trying to woo Taylor Swift by singing and playing the guitar. Jaune is a good guy with a good heart, but he can be a little dumb and cringe at times lol
Phyrra can move metal objects, but Cinder fights with glass weapons, so she can't manipulate her weapon. Summer... I hope you are patient :D (or upload more frequently :D )
I'm glad I'm not the only who thought it was weird that Haven and Beacon didn't have a talk about students going there but well I won't spoil they explain but I will say coward that is all. Also this was the episode that made me a shipper of Yang and Blake. Yang was the only one who know Blake was going to go and when she gave her that wink just made me go yup they're going to freak really soon.
