Lets not be too harsh. Yes, this is about White getting sponsored by Knorr. But he is just trying to give advice about a simple meal that has flavor without spending hours laboring over stocks and herbs you may only use once and throw the rest away.
If anyone is questioning his skills as a chef....well you might want to Wiki Marco Pierre White or go into the afterlife and talk to Anthony Bourdain. I actually admire MPW trying to give time stressed, regular folks without a gourmet kitchen some ideas about making a great meal without having to give up your job.
Also, if you listen, the Knorr reference takes up about 10 seconds. The rest is about simple technique. That is really more important right.

yeah, but you don't need stock cubes to flavor beef. Just salt and pepper. Stock cubes have unnecessary ingredients. He's using it because he has to. Lets be honest.

People shouldn't be concerned with the stock cubes or the recipes in the videos, they should be watching the way he cooks, or his tips. I watch his videos and look at his techniques. The stock cubes can be replaced for normal chicken stock, beef stock, and salt etc. Marco really does give out tips that I have personally used in my cooking at home. The tips will improve your cooking to the next level if used properly.
