We pay sales tax at the counter when buying parts and equipment and don’t charge our customers sales tax. I’m wanting to add appliance sales to my business and I’m not sure how to proceed, I feel like would be required to charge sales tax on the appliance sales. So confusing. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for video, but I think you need to update your video and use actual online application, as it looks like you assume some of options based on paper application and giving wrong info, online application is more strict as you have to enter required fields. Firstly, reason for applying "New taxable activity" should be used only if business was already registered previously, if you select this option online it will ask you for required "Florida Business Partner Number" & "Current Sales and Use Tax Number" for first time registration you should select "New registration". Secondly, If business type selected is "LLC - Single member - Disregarded" then it is required to use SSN

This form looks nothing like what is shown here (followed same links) and if you select LLC (which many will do) it forces you to chose either S-Corp or C-Corp. Deferring will force you to use SSN or Visa number.

An automatic replay came up telling me not to email them my important documents, Social Security Number, EIN or any other personal documents. If I fill the DR1 form and attach my passport and send it to the email you mentioned in this video, will it work or do I have to submit it online separately? Which you have shown in this video. (I don't have SSN or Visa)
For those who are encountering "Login Failure: Your Certificate Number or Business Partner Number is incorrect." issue when logging in, give them another 24 hours and it will work. Make sure you remove all dashes before pasting the numbers into the login fields as well.

When I clicked on START A NEW APPLICATION, I did not find any DRI FORM ONLINE. I had to fill different pages online. Is there any difference?

We still get it done for clients without those things. We have been doing the same way. The trick Is at the end but sure they can change forms anytime

Follow this video and apply exactly like I do it and you can get the resale cert without registering to do business there.
