On top of that, most of the references tendo to be of recent games like withPaldea's multiple references to Galar. This made me think of a theory that the Galar, Hisui & Paldea games either are their own timeline, where mega evolution exist but wasn't made well known, or are many decades in the future to the point most older characters we know have passed away.
