Ok, I see what you did here. I was not following the whole three years when Yabá was on the hard with these shipwrights. Yabá looks so fine now, I am sure they were extremely gratified to see all their hard work shining so brightly. They probably rarely get to experience the full joyous "after", only the grim "before". I get it.
A magnificent tribute to all the shipwrights. So disappointed not to see Nezo there though. He is a super hero in this story and deserves a trip on Yaba perhaps instead. Not many like him left I’m afraid. 🎉🎉

I don't speak Portuguese but I know enough Spanish to think that the title of that picture book means, "Return to the Sea" - de volta ao mar. O.K. I just Google translate it as it says "Back to the Sea". Very good job of showcasing gratitude and camaraderie to family and friends during this festive season.

So good to see the 'chippies' back on Yabá, sad not seeing Nezo there tho' , that guy was an absolute hero, (tell me you sent a book back for him too). It was just fantastic to watch the 'chippies' build with sledge hammers, chain saws, mallets and chisels, using the sides of the hammer to hammer in nails 🤔🙈🤣😂. Just think what you two have learnt too from these guys, when someone buys a finished boat they then must learn how to use it, you two tho' not only know this already but you also know about every inch of Yabá and undertand whys and whatfors. A massive thanks to your families too, not everyone has a family that is so supportive. Seeing you all gathered around the table on the verandah was the embodiment of that scene you envisaged MP when you first looked over the ailing Yaba and dared to dream. Congratulations to you and those craftsmen who turned your dream into a reality. The book was a really thoughtful gift. The pleasure it gave was immense. It was nice to see your table used to show hospitality again. I remember when Yabá was sinking you used to have the "Odd" crew to lunch most days. Finally Yabá has really come to life!

Ok, I see what you did here. I was not following the whole three years when Yabá was on the hard with these shipwrights. Yabá looks so fine now, I am sure they were extremely gratified to see all their hard work shining so brightly. They probably rarely get to experience the full joyous "after", only the grim "before". I get it.
A magnificent tribute to all the shipwrights. So disappointed not to see Nezo there though. He is a super hero in this story and deserves a trip on Yaba perhaps instead. Not many like him left I’m afraid. 🎉🎉

Totally agree, what he couldn't do with a 3-foot rule, a stub pencil, and a "durry" (cigarette) hanging out the corner of his mouth - isn't worth mentioning. I hope MP and Ben do tell us what he is up to, as he, - along with the always smiling guy who was there from the get-go and in this Video - were the main drivers of all that back breaking work.... and yes, true heroes.

Merry Christmas YABA I have watched every episode and step in the transformation of this once sinking yacht with awe and admiration for every ship builder carpenter mechanic and just every one. I honestly thought in the beginning nothing will ever come of your dream but it did and it also became my dream to what beauty would emerge. You guys made a humbling wonderful gesture of profound thankfulness to the entire team. Now waiting for the new adventures on the horizon. Many Sea blessings for the future!

So good to see the 'chippies' back on Yabá, sad not seeing Nezo there tho' , that guy was an absolute hero, (tell me you sent a book back for him too). It was just fantastic to watch the 'chippies' build with sledge hammers, chain saws, mallets and chisels, using the sides of the hammer to hammer in nails 🤔🙈🤣😂.
Just think what you two have learnt too from these guys, when someone buys a finished boat they then must learn how to use it, you two tho' not only know this already but you also know about every inch of Yabá and undertand whys and whatfors.
A massive thanks to your families too, not everyone has a family that is so supportive.

Seeing you all gathered around the table on the verandah was the embodiment of that scene you envisaged MP when you first looked over the ailing Yaba and dared to dream.
