Good value projector. Great for screen mirroring of films from your laptop in the garden or camping. I use an IKEA sun sail as a white screen in my wood pergola and this works well. Good value product, very affordable. Easy top operate.

Great video, new to this, if you had sky go on your tablet, can you screen mirror that to the projector Also what sort of distance does projector need to be away from the wall, can you advise on this please
not sure about the skygo sorry and it depends on the price of the cover, there is a good warranty anyway so if it is very cheap then maybe worth it for a little more peace of mind

I want to throw 360cms and so figure screen diagonal at that distance will be 244cms. With 16:9 aspect ratio, I figure actual screen size will be 120cm x 213cm. (1) Does the maths look good to you? (LOL) and (2) Is there any way to adjust screen size from the projector to make it smaller? Help appreciated. Thx.

there are some restrictions of content from the apps you mentioned although it varies from device to device. the macbook air might be okay with the wifi, but it isn't something i have tried sorry
Hello, my girlfriend bought this projector for casual use. She connects her laptop to it via HDMI, but we've noticed some popping/cracking sounds coming from the projector's speaker. Is there a way to fix this on the unit? Or are we better off connecting an external speaker every time? Also, pretty frequently the image will go black and then turn back on, as if it's resetting. Curious if anyone else has had this issue.
Can I please add a comment to help all the people who are having trouble with the projector not reading USB Or SD content. I had this trouble and couldn't find help anywhere. I had a 2tb memory stick which wouldn't work, so i formatted it using file system NTFS and not the FAT32(Default) and the projector found all my music video's.I Did The same with my SD card and that works also now. Also resolution of video has to be 1280X720.
I just bought one of these, was excited to get it going only to find when I select screen mirroring it just says “no signal”. 😕 No instructions appear and no WiFi connection on my iPhone. I’m guessing it’s faulty?
i have been told the 430W is upgraded but to be honest comparing the two i can't see any real difference. The fan noise profile is slightly more muted on the 430W but otherwise picture wise they look extremely similar

I bought one of these for Christmas the picture quality is pretty good up until 100 inches, you can use it with a light on without no prblem

they are both very similar and i would say between the two i would be hard pressed to tell the difference picture wise

good question, the vankyo seems a better option colour wise but generally a little more noisy in darker scenes

Great review, I'm confused between 430w and 470 both of similar specifications which one is better?
check the features, the W models normally have wireless functionality, and the higher the model number the bigger and brighter the unit is (usually)

yes i believe so, even if the DRM kicks in a cheap HDMI splitter overcomes that pretty quickly

it will be okay in some brighter scenarios, but is best in as dark a room as possible

yes to the first question and i would say a minimum of about 5 or 6ft further away the larger the image
Hi Mike. Would you advise getting accidental damage and 2 years break down cover with this product? Also would it play sky go off an iPad?

sounds about right, i can't recall if this model had digital zoom on it, but that would do it

sounds like a damaged port or bad hdmi cable, tried another cable?

it is pretty quiet, not silent but that is the case for almost every projector, but this one isn't too loud
I can hear the sound noise honestly but Iam planning to get it connected to speaker

it is as little noisy in some instances but it watching a movie or similar it is fine

Let me check normally it is about 6 foot image at about 6-7 foot away so depends on the distance the light will travel onto your projection surface
