A clear sign of that is that Emily is openly gay which Scientology is against, however what makes cults like Scientology and Jehova's Witnesses different is their introverted nature and the practice of shunning and separation from family. By Emily, so far, not talking too much about, it could be her trying to walk a fine line between, potentially, not being a devout Scientologist, but also not being shunned by her family or personal circles. I recently watched an interview with an expert on cults, and he said that the way to get someone out of a cult is to meet them with compassion, empathy and openness to who the are, because then you give them an alternative to a, potentially, abusive social circle which you need if you are to be separated from family as a result of breaking with a cult. So, ironically, the people who hurl abuse towards Emily because of Scientology (Individual mistakes notwithstanding) are, at best, not contributing to her, potentially, relying on her fellow Linkin Park band-mates as her "second family" in order to break with a cult that, on paper, clearly would disown her because of her sexual orientation. Who knows, maybe Linkin Park will be her ticket out of Scientology!

Thx Tim! Unsure I would’ve entertained a new Lincoln Park but Emily nailed it in the best way possible. Excited for her and the band to carry on and “Make Chester Proud”❣️
I think the best way i can describe these voices is that Chesters voice came from a place of pain and sincerity. His screams where pain and angiush. Emily is screaming with intent, if that kind of makes sense. They're not be compared, they can't be and shouldn't be, they're not the same and Chester isn't being replaced, or trying to be replaced. Just two different styles. Let's just be thankful LP are back making music. Will there be comparisons? Of course, it's only natural, and did I say to myself 'I wonder what this would have sounded like with Chester singing instead', yes. But it's just a thought process, not a 'OMG WTF are you guys doing carrying on without Chester'...
For everyone who says she can’t sing. First of all, you are wrong. Secondly It takes massive vocal abilities to sing the way she does. This is the first time I have had an explanation of just how much true talent it takes to sing the way she does. Thanks. People say she does not sing with emotion. I hear her singing with plenty of emotion. She makes me teary eyed. And I wouldn’t get that way if she had no emotion in her vocals.
I loved Emily parts. And the new song fit perfectly to her. Chester will obviously be up there but this is a new beginning for linkin park and i see a bright future .
Emily’s previous band (Dead Sara) was awesome. Dave Grohl said they should be the biggest rock band in the world. She’s been growling and screaming lyrics for a dozen years.
Tbh I don't think they could've picked anyone that wouldn't get a ton of backlash for something or another. She's been really open about the scientology thing and that she was friends with Danny M. years ago and didn't know about any of it until later. She's apologized, owned it, and grew, and personally, whether the internet wants to or not I think it's really important to LET. PEOPLE. GROW. and she obviously has. She's a great vocalist. She absolutely fills those big shoes just as well as anyone else and the vibes are still Linkin Park. I wish I could sing like that.
I love hearing Mike singing and harmonizing again. I love seeing him smile. I love how well everyone works together, it’s like they’re all working as one. And Emily is OUTSTANDING, and so right for this band, for their sound, for their vibes. Love her.
I would add what I find impressive for that style of singing, is that even so she alter her vowels for her to sound very open, her lyrics are very clear (for the lack of better word) comparing to some singers that sings high and raspy, but I can not understand what they are saying. Even when she explodes on 'let you cut me open' still very clear words. That is cool as hell. And she is very expressive with those damn lyrics!:)
One of my vocal chords died a few years back (the nerve connecting it to my brain), so I learned to talk using my false chords - a friend in a rock band asked me if I'd come sing for him, it was gritty as heck lol... the nerve regenerated, and everything went back to normal, but it taught me a lot.
She’s so perfect for this, can’t wait for the new album! I think the song is about social media, putting new music out there again and having the backlash when all they wanted to do is be together again as friends and be creative!
I am not a religious person at all, and when I originally heard the song I felt a sense of 'good' vs 'evil' in the lyrics. Always following a path of vice which ultimately leads to an empty life. In this context, 'Its been decided how we lose' would mean 'without faith, evil will always watch me bleed until the ultimate end. Im extremely glad that I didnt fall into the hater column with this new era of Linkin Park. I have a feeling this is something that was greatly needed in the world of accessible, loud rock music.
"I only wanted to be part of something" Mike and the band re: Chester, Emily re: Scientology. Anyone and everyone who was ever part of a family, relationship, school, group, that just ENDED, thus "I let you cut me open, just to watch me BLEED, gave up who I AM for who YOU wanted me to be" RESONATES SO HARD LIKE ORIGINAL LP SONGS that got all our ANGST out! THEY ARE BACK and I am here for it ❤
You REALLY need to react to their September 11th Waiting For The End performance. It’s my automatic favorite. And Emily Armstrong, the new lead vocalist, is from her own band DEAD SARA!
Really enjoyed the live harmonies on this - I feel like they aren't as prominent in the studio recording, which is totally fine, but I love how well their voices sound together here. Thanks for sharing your reaction!
I'm pretty sure they pitch corrected this as well as tweaking the mix, after the event. During the actual live stream it was not pitch corrected, and didn't need to be. Call me old school but to me a husky voice just ends up sounding worse than just going ever so slightly off key
all i can remember about it was how LinkinParK struggled and and go through all those pain and hardships and the disbelief what they all feel after the loss of Chester in their band.. and this emptiness haunts them for many years or months of how will they go on without Chester.. and How will their life as a band without Chester and everything what ifs, and whys, of the life without Chester...and the song resonates a reminder and calling of how things will be, if it ever be the same with or without Chester in it.. and the transformation of the band of how will they move on after Chester left them disheartened and at loss.. and that is why ily Armatrong stepped in and reinvigorated and energized the band and reworked on how will they "do it" and Rock the World once again and put it on its place of those fans that loves them so much and gone through with them.. and as a fan, this the time of the year LinkinParK with their newest members, will be able to create and reinvigorate the world again, where this world need THEM SOO MUCH AND MISSES THEM SOO MUCH...so much love and massive heartful of thanks to you coach!!! and for LP communities around the world, VIVA EL LINKINPARK!!!!- LOVE FROM PHILIPPINES!!
When the drop came, I was like: "Oh yes, THAT'S still Linkin Park" 🎉 When Emily began singing, I got very emotional and as she started screaming, I had to yell out "Hell yes, crush it girl!" She's perfect for the new LP era ❤
And this is early on. They are getting more powerful with every live performance. I'm so proud of both of them. Edited to add: I never looked at this through Scientology eyes. I was raised in Conservative Christianity. Oh, fuck. This hits even harder in that context. Makes me love it all the more.
I’m a long-term fan of Linkin Park, best ever band. I've had more than my fair share of mental struggles and Linkin Park has saved me more than once. Linkin Park is so good, and Mike Shinoda in my view a hugely underestimated contributor that has made the band what it was and always will be. He’s the creative genius and foundation, has taken time to redefine and create the new LP. And it’s so good and quintessentially Linkin Park! There will never be another Chester, but that's not the point. Listening to Emily on their first 3 new songs just tears me apart. She's so good and a perfect fit for Lincoln Park 2.0. They still have all of the elements of what made LP brilliant, but have not attempted to replicate Chester, but to bring the same energy and vocal fierceness that will have always done Lincoln Park proud. I am for one, so excited about the new album. RIP Chester you'll always be missed and always be loved forever. In my view Emily is worthy new element to the band and her 5new performances are just WOW! I cannot wait for their tours in other countries in 2025, when they come to Australia!
always enjoy these reactions where you actually learn something. i'm new to your channel but have now subscribed. love emily, think shes a great fit. someone recommended you check out her original band Dead Sara and I would second that recommendation. maybe start with an older song like Weatherman then see where the fan base leads you.
She is definitely not a replacements, we will always remember Chester and love what he did. The band could have ended with him passing away. But they decided to continue and to continue they need new member of staff a strong vocalist. On top of that Imagine what she also must going through and feels, people judging her from day one. I think she is great and THANK YOU LP to continue creating great music again . For the new future ❤❤ This song gives me shivers and goosebumps.
Love the HEAVY HEAVY analysis of the song and singing techniques. In fact how you explained it just shows how much work there is to "construct" this song. Actually they did have a joke during that concerts encore where she pretty much joked that she was not able to sing and had to learn to sing the past 8 months... I believe it was just to teach her something along the lines of chesters style but comparing it to older dead sarah material I actually do believe now that she's fully had to relearn a lot of the fundamentals... and honestly I don't think it hurt her. Regarding the controversy: What people list is lots of stuff and hate, what people don't list, is sources and proof. I don't believe that a band as influential and big as LP did not know exactely what is true and what not before hiring her. In fact I do believe that they pretty much played everyone to maximum benefit because .... ... interpreting the Emptiness Machine is very easy and can be seen as a statement to all the haters, false fans and in general people that just deny their true being just to please a wrong ideal (in this very specific example that LP is not LP without chester) or persons just to act cool. Emily showed a that a lot of "Fans" are just fameseekers that are fans because LP medially known, but never really understood LP for what they are... a band that is MAJORLY evolving with everything they do. Emily in the Band is not only a reboot for LP, but also a further step into the evolution of LP as well as Mikes personal evolution - early shows they played show, that mike is a lot more comfortable singing and not only rapping. something that he learned and went comfy with when doing fort minor or other projects. Those "Fans" who say it ain't LP ... simply never understood LP in the first place
To me the Emptiness Machine is consumerist society ☺️ It’s taken me a fortnight to pluck up the nerve to listen, since Linkin Park’s music has meant SO much to me, since I was a misfit child- I needed to acclimatise to the idea of a new singer. Now I can say it’s an amazing song! She is so cool it makes me think I want to learn to scream myself! As a folk singer with a high, sweet voice this idea never occurred to me before 😄
From my understanding, this song was already written when Mike asked her to do vocals for it. But I do believe she does have writing credits for other songs on the album. It’s also my personal belief that people crapping on Emily are part of the same crowd that has been nasty towards LP long before Chester passed. In their minds, they haven’t been “LP” since meteora, and were especially nasty about One More Light. The band wasn’t good enough for them with Chester, so they won’t be good enough without
I’m not sure how I feel about this I heard it over the weekend. I think to comeback after the death of any band member is hard Chester’s voice was so unique and it’s hard to unhear what we think we should be hearing. Mike is great and Emily has an amazing voice I just think it’s going to be an adjustment. The song is amazing and I believe this band still has a lot to offer the world of music, I guess only time will tell.
6:22 this is interesting to hear, because (and I dont know how familiar you are with LP and their career) Mike Shinoda has his roots as a man of Hi-Hop and Rap, so it was intriguing to hear you say "conversational" since Mike is a Rapper inherently :D
Her heart must’ve been pounding on the first show… imagine performing that with your heart rate probably sky high before you even sing a note. She crushed that and she’s only getting even better. Amazing.
Charismatic Voice has a great video with Will Ramos where they scope his throat while singing and it shows the vocal chords and false vocal chords really well. It is a great video to check out.
I think for some fans even if Chester came back from the beyond to give his approval of Emily, they’d still be hostile towards her. It’s perfectly fine if some don’t care for her singing, but that’s different than what some so called fans are doing/saying. I prefer postive discussions for or against her, once talks turned ugly I’m out, I’m not for that.
Yeah, that’s a good mindset to have. When a band is so important to a large group of people it’s really hard to do anything without it getting people emotional. But I definitely think this was a powerful move for the music project. She’s a very formidable lead singer.
I’ve seen the official video for the studio version numerous times already, but this was my first viewing of its live performance. And I feel good that the group delivered. I try to be open-minded about these things, and respectful of artists. My own favorite band lost their frontman to drug addiction. Like LP they were inactive for years. Eventually circumstances came together where they felt it was right to reunite. So I know some backlash is inevitable, but I don’t begrudge artists who still have a lot to give.
I’m not a person that will normally leave comments a , I like my thoughts for myself, will leave it at that , Emily Armstrong, ex lead vocalist of dead Sara since 2003 , she is just what LP needed , I been following LP since 1996 ,before they were actually linkin park and always been together, surely the passing of our beloved Chester is not been easy to find a new lead singer, to much expectations of how will compare, why? We know Chester Bennington is not replaceable, but Emily is not doing that she is just what the band is needed from a lead singer , so for those haters just grow up , be happy that LP is back with their original sound so fitted to LP, I’m thrilled that they are back and can’t wait till they back to my home country Spain
Great reaction. Just one note. If she’s going back against Scientology in this song. Than she’s no longer a Scientologist. There is no middle ground with those ppl. I’d just like to enjoy the music and having LP back again and ignore the bs.
The lyrics are not about her cult. This song, like many from LP, is about the pain in of being in relationship to a narcissist / cluster B disordered person. "Gave up who I am, for who you wanted me to be" This line refers to sacrificing your own needs, as usually happens in a toxic relationship where one is the giver and the other the taker. "I only wanted to be part of something" "You're waiting in the distance, just like you always do" "Don't know why I'm hoping, for what I won't receive" These lines refer to the coldness, lack of connection, with an emotionally unavailable person, aka. the "emptiness machine"
I think it’s both. It is an incredible song and an excellent performance. I have been a fan of LP since Hybrid Theory. This is a new chapter and I am here for it! 😊
I really loved your reaction and your analysis. I'd love to see you reacting to kamelot - liar liar. Or to yannis papadopoulos. He's the singer of beast in black and his solo covers are really great. He is an amazing singer.
I thought LP was gone and I was sad about it, but this makes me want to buy it…. No, it’s not OG LP, but she’s awesome. I can’t help but think some of the haters are like the misogynistic gatekeeping of gamers who say girls aren’t “real” gamers, or women don’t really like football except to impress guys… (I used to get “tested” by guys all the time about my football knowledge 🙄).
One interesting thing is her inhale breaths are a part of her style both live and in the studio it seems. There are also clips of how she kind of does some rapid off-mic breathing when preparing to do longer scream segments such as in Given Up. Very few singers could do two hour shows with songs like these but they are pulling it off.
She is awesome , there is one or two songs she's done live were she pushed that grow a little to hard. "Point of authority" is the one that comes to mind . But experimenting with what works is something all bands do. With ever new venue the change things up alittle and improve. Emily is still working out some songs playing around with how clean or how much grit to add
@@TimWelchVocalStudio the full premiere concert is on Linkin Park's channel. There are two other four concerts also posted online LA and New York those are 2 hours. The premier she was really nervous, and emotional. Her voice Broke Alot during her 2d or 3d song. I noticed it was really smokey on stage so the may have been a factor. But she broke down in tears in the middle of "Waiting for the End" for a brief moment came back like a champ. But apparently broke down again right after her the fire show. So her emotions were really running high, expectedly.
So, i don't think that this song has to do with her being against scientology or something that way, I think it is actually more a massage from Mr Chester Bennington written in his thoughts. Just like the song the crown weights heavily. Rest in peace Mr Bennington.

Will there be comparisons? Of course, it's only natural, and did I say to myself 'I wonder what this would have sounded like with Chester singing instead', yes. But it's just a thought process, not a 'OMG WTF are you guys doing carrying on without Chester'...
Love this.
THEY ARE BACKKKK Emily is amazing she pulled off her first concert with them better than i could ever expect. You go girl ❤️
I loved Emily parts. And the new song fit perfectly to her. Chester will obviously be up there but this is a new beginning for linkin park and i see a bright future .
I love that LP fans also have that reaction and to hear it from a professional is so validating.
Emily’s previous band (Dead Sara) was awesome. Dave Grohl said they should be the biggest rock band in the world. She’s been growling and screaming lyrics for a dozen years.
Such an impressive vocalist
The best analysis and I've watched like millions of these so far :D
💛✨🙏🏼
Tbh I don't think they could've picked anyone that wouldn't get a ton of backlash for something or another. She's been really open about the scientology thing and that she was friends with Danny M. years ago and didn't know about any of it until later. She's apologized, owned it, and grew, and personally, whether the internet wants to or not I think it's really important to LET. PEOPLE. GROW. and she obviously has. She's a great vocalist. She absolutely fills those big shoes just as well as anyone else and the vibes are still Linkin Park. I wish I could sing like that.
Yep. I agree
I love hearing Mike singing and harmonizing again. I love seeing him smile. I love how well everyone works together, it’s like they’re all working as one. And Emily is OUTSTANDING, and so right for this band, for their sound, for their vibes. Love her.
The Alice in chains reference is spot on.
But damn People... What a voice... She alternates between different styles like it's nothing
She is amazing and those melodies with Mike`s voice were crazy.
It’s so funny you say that! I had so many things I didn’t talk about in that video and that was one of them. Nicely done catching that.
@@TimWelchVocalStudio Thank you for confirming, I'm just a listener with passion:)
Very interesting analysis, and i totally agree with you, she’s amazing!! Thank you 🙏🏻
Definitely also recommend checking out their live debut of Keys to the Kingdom from their sept 11 show! So so good
On it!
FAINT live in NYC was incredible
@@chrsannbig true!
Love this. She sounds great! Looking forward to the future!
One of my vocal chords died a few years back (the nerve connecting it to my brain), so I learned to talk using my false chords - a friend in a rock band asked me if I'd come sing for him, it was gritty as heck lol... the nerve regenerated, and everything went back to normal, but it taught me a lot.
Wow, that is beyond fascinating! Send some recordings! 🤘🏼🔥
This is perfect. I love it . And its the right call for them. They are not replacing him, its just a new chapter.
Im sure Chester would approve
Ok ok ok, second time through I'm liking it more and more. Definitely looking forward to see what else they do
Yes!
She’s so perfect for this, can’t wait for the new album! I think the song is about social media, putting new music out there again and having the backlash when all they wanted to do is be together again as friends and be creative!
Great song and thanks for diving into Lincoln park! Heard them on the radio recently and they are amazing! And good growth in this channel, loving it
She's awesome..and LP will keep on moving with her involvement in the band.Keep it up Emily ✌️
THEY ARE BACK and I am here for it ❤
Certain LP fans need to grow up!
Makes me wonder if they're also that CERTAIN group of StarWars fans that can't handle a title with a woman in the lead :P
@@adamross2256 if you're refering to the acolyte, then that is definitely not the reason for it's downfall.
@@Bhisha96 not specifically. That group has been vocal since the sequel trilogy and Rey
You REALLY need to react to their September 11th Waiting For The End performance. It’s my automatic favorite.
And Emily Armstrong, the new lead vocalist, is from her own band DEAD SARA!
Added!
Really enjoyed the live harmonies on this - I feel like they aren't as prominent in the studio recording, which is totally fine, but I love how well their voices sound together here. Thanks for sharing your reaction!
Interesting, I need to listen to the studio version now. Thanks!
I'm pretty sure they pitch corrected this as well as tweaking the mix, after the event. During the actual live stream it was not pitch corrected, and didn't need to be. Call me old school but to me a husky voice just ends up sounding worse than just going ever so slightly off key
Bro... it's so awesome that you hear the song first with no interruption and then you do a second reaction/comentary
Thanks! You all trained me that that’s how you want me to do it lol!
I'm literally crying listening to that song. And hearing the small snippets where he points out just how good they did it, doesn't make it better.
I think the song is about the internet trolls and the hate backlash. The emptiness machine meaning the computer internet.
Thanks for your amazing reaction!!
🔥🙌🏼
Im Sooo Happy LP is back 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. Emily Rocks this song ❣️
all i can remember about it was how LinkinParK struggled and and go through all those pain and hardships and the disbelief what they all feel after the loss of Chester in their band.. and this emptiness haunts them for many years or months of how will they go on without Chester.. and How will their life as a band without Chester and everything what ifs, and whys, of the life without Chester...and the song resonates a reminder and calling of how things will be, if it ever be the same with or without Chester in it.. and the transformation of the band of how will they move on after Chester left them disheartened and at loss.. and that is why ily Armatrong stepped in and reinvigorated and energized the band and reworked on how will they "do it" and Rock the World once again and put it on its place of those fans that loves them so much and gone through with them.. and as a fan, this the time of the year LinkinParK with their newest members, will be able to create and reinvigorate the world again, where this world need THEM SOO MUCH AND MISSES THEM SOO MUCH...so much love and massive heartful of thanks to you coach!!! and for LP communities around the world, VIVA EL LINKINPARK!!!!- LOVE FROM PHILIPPINES!!
When the drop came, I was like:
"Oh yes, THAT'S still Linkin Park" 🎉
When Emily began singing, I got very emotional and as she started screaming, I had to yell out "Hell yes, crush it girl!"
She's perfect for the new LP era ❤
I think I need to let this marinate
I love Emily with the “new” Lincoln Park. There’s not another Chester ever but she’s helped to keep the band going. She’s awesome 👏🏻
And this is early on. They are getting more powerful with every live performance. I'm so proud of both of them.
Edited to add: I never looked at this through Scientology eyes. I was raised in Conservative Christianity. Oh, fuck. This hits even harder in that context. Makes me love it all the more.
So good!
Man, the thumbnail of this video looks like Jürgen Klopp is reacting to LP
lol! Who is this guy?! Like the 4th comment that I look like him. Haha.
@TimWelchVocalStudio famous football coach, coached FC Liverpool till this year. But it seems he had enough and quit coaching completely
But for me it's only the thumbnail. Otherwise there is a similarity but not that much, but the thumbnail is like a full match
@@TobiasKrasingerNow that you said it, he does look similar to jurgen klopp in the thumbnail 😅
always enjoy these reactions where you actually learn something. i'm new to your channel but have now subscribed. love emily, think shes a great fit. someone recommended you check out her original band Dead Sara and I would second that recommendation. maybe start with an older song like Weatherman then see where the fan base leads you.
Great idea!
For the new future ❤❤
This song gives me shivers and goosebumps.
I saw the thumbnail and thought "Jürgen Klopp listens to Linkin Park"???
lol!
Thanks for this. 👊🏼🔥
Jurgen klopp switched careers
lol!
As a folk singer with a high, sweet voice this idea never occurred to me before 😄
Let’s get you some online lessons! We teach it. lol! 🙌🏼✨
She's perfect!!
The band wasn’t good enough for them with Chester, so they won’t be good enough without
Cool that Jurgen Klopp also analyzes music!
Haha, who is this guy!?! And when did I begin looking like him!?! lol
@@TimWelchVocalStudio Haha German football coach! Great video also 👍
If Kurt Cobain and Ann Wilson had a kid she would sound like Emily😂
I’m not sure how I feel about this I heard it over the weekend. I think to comeback after the death of any band member is hard Chester’s voice was so unique and it’s hard to unhear what we think we should be hearing. Mike is great and Emily has an amazing voice I just think it’s going to be an adjustment. The song is amazing and I believe this band still has a lot to offer the world of music, I guess only time will tell.
I would strongly suggest listening to one of the live shows either the 11th or the latest one in New York. Her voice keeps getting better each show.
Emily is BADASS! Huge thumbs up! 👍👍👍👍
Listen to Dead Sara and yiu really get a range for her abilities. She is incredible.
Amazing.
So true man, LP IS BACK !!!
Nope
Her entry is just🔥🔥
Charismatic Voice has a great video with Will Ramos where they scope his throat while singing and it shows the vocal chords and false vocal chords really well. It is a great video to check out.
Thanks!
She’s a very formidable lead singer.
thank you sir...your reaction is musically educational...
👊🏼🔥
i feel like it hits many ideas all at once. a triple entendre.

Beautiful mindset
I love the way she sings for example the lyrics...I wanted it to b ehhh. Emptiness Mach EHHH ine
that kicck in... theyre back,,,, she hits just like chester would. i'm here for the new era of Linkin Park
Yes, agreed! 🔥🙌🏼
great review 👏
hell ya man. a real reaction.
Great song. Love it
Off to spend the next week speaking to cougars! Damn would love to be able to sing with grit! Heck I'd love to be able to sing :D
Hahaha!!!😂
Great reaction. Just one note. If she’s going back against Scientology in this song. Than she’s no longer a Scientologist. There is no middle ground with those ppl. I’d just like to enjoy the music and having LP back again and ignore the bs.
Yes, makes sense. The music is everything.
endlich ein gewürzter vocal coach
Emtyness machine = your phone
Wanting to be part of something = social media.
The lyrics are not about her cult.
This song, like many from LP, is about the pain in of being in relationship to a narcissist / cluster B disordered person.
"Gave up who I am, for who you wanted me to be"
This line refers to sacrificing your own needs, as usually happens in a toxic relationship where one is the giver and the other the taker.
"I only wanted to be part of something"
"You're waiting in the distance, just like you always do"
"Don't know why I'm hoping, for what I won't receive"
These lines refer to the coldness, lack of connection, with an emotionally unavailable person, aka. the "emptiness machine"
Awesome thanks
Defending a person like her shows alot of
I think it’s both.
Goddamned she murders that chorus
One interesting thing is her inhale breaths are a part of her style both live and in the studio it seems. There are also clips of how she kind of does some rapid off-mic breathing when preparing to do longer scream segments such as in Given Up. Very few singers could do two hour shows with songs like these but they are pulling it off.
Wonderful
She is awesome , there is one or two songs she's done live were she pushed that grow a little to hard. "Point of authority" is the one that comes to mind . But experimenting with what works is something all bands do. With ever new venue the change things up alittle and improve. Emily is still working out some songs playing around with how clean or how much grit to add
I have to check out more of their stuff
