Finding A Keeper Fluke (Summer Flounder) On New Jersey Shore

In the middle of the Fluke season, finding a keeper is getting tougher since most of the keeper has already been caught or taken. We need to explore new spots or places rarely visited by anglers. Getting out of your comfort zone pays and produces the desired result. Fishing is a continuous learning process, you'll be surprised to learn to adapt (experiment, change fishing tactics, learn new techniques), meet new people, and discover new things.

Always look for a trough or an ambushed spot where predators will get an easy prey without exerting too much effort. All fish behaves the same way whether you’re on beach, streams, or bay. If you’ve mastered how to read the structures, it doesn’t matter where you are. Surely, you will catch a fish.
