I don't have those issues. I'm overweight! I'm stuffed with food and my stuffing is keeping me warm.
I'm ALWAYS freezing a starving. I wear long pants a jacket in summer but a slight breeze makes me cold (I work in a supermarket with ac) I'm always starving because I exercise more than I eat because eating is boring and requires cooking/effort so I just starve.

One of the reasons women are cold is due to fashion. If a woman wants to dress feminine for a formal occasion I guarantee that she's going to have to expose a lot more skin than her man will in a suit or tuxedo. Female fashion is impractical (pockets are the easiest example) costly, and there's usually significantly less skin covered which means more heat loss. The typical bridal gown has much of the upper chest/decollete exposed. Often dresses are sleeveless and have an open back design too. Contrast this with the groom's apparel. Full length pants, long sleeve button down shirt, AND a thicker suit jacket! No wonder women are always borrowing their man's suit jacket! We're freezing! It's not about being prude its about NOT being a human popsicle! Oh sure we can dress warmer but then we don't look nearly as feminine and that can be unacceptable in certain environments for a variety of spoken and unspoken reasons.
