Love the series, but I don't think there is any question but the the English Civil War was the most important revolution because it essentially spawned the US. The French Revolution has claim to a wild short period of European history, but it largely faded out and had to be reinvented several times to get democracy to seem to stick. We trust. The Russia looks to be heading to the dumper these days, but the US still maintains it's hegemony in the world in the face of all of its detractors. And BTW, why do all those fellows in tri corner hats in the above graphic appear to be wearing cullottes?
