This is a real gem. Thanks very much NFB! The backgrounds are exceptional in this short. The design is 1950s. Can I say that? The writing is superb. I really enjoyed the sound effects and music in this short. ANd I feel like I've been introduced to a new director as well. Bravo!

It's fascinating that they made this cartoon about year long work. Today the reason people would object to such advance technology isn't the habit to the old ways but the effect it has on the invariant and how large machines influence global warming.

Yes, everyone must work during the winter (save the uper class) break your self sufficient habits and work year round so everyone gets paid sorta decent wage (and the rich get the lion share)
