That apam balik uncle has been there since I was a kid and I grew up eating that especially after my tuition class! Definitely nostalgic! It’s good but tbh you can find better ones in our local neighborhood…
There's tons of good local food around Petaling Street area. And you were there at the perfect time... 5pm I believe you said, whereby all the stalls are setting up for dinner crowd. That laksa place you passed by earlier does a really good asam laksa... There's also a very popular stall selling claypot chicken rice there. Hope you managed to try some of it, or you're missing out.
I am concern that many vendors there are beyond the age limit to work. Once they pass away, they will not find a successor. Example the mochi lady and pancake uncle
New subscriber here. Enjoy watching your Malaysia vlogs. My family and I will be there later this year. Would you try durian on your trip? Safe travels.
If you really want to buy in Petaling Street.... you have to bargain / barter... ask for a 50% discount and work your way up... stop and walk off at 25% discount...
Fuh the fake market really put pricey price huh. Could go lower but I think you got it rm40 is good already haha. You really need to bargain on those places
@22:27: "I do want some 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙨..." Americans listening to your narration will probably think you have some kind of sexual fetish. To Americans, thongs are those skimpy things masquerading as underwear. What Aussies call 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘴 are called 𝘧𝘭𝘪𝘱-𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘴 in other places and 𝘴𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴 in Malaysia. 😂
that apam balik uncle is a legend! Had quite a few apam balik from him already, so delicious!
Sedap! 😋
Definitely amazing and cheap!

Hey, khai you look good 👍
I think you got a great deal. You’re a natural bargainer👍🏻
Your understanding of Bahasa Melayu is very good. How are you that good? I'm utterly curious
I practice learning the basic language before coming to every country, and then I find it very natural from there
Rule of thumb: slash the price by half and let them counter offer , and settle with 35 to 40% disc.
The energy and vibrancy of Petaling Street ❤ I walk there everyday to absorb it😂
It is crazy good haha
nice Video, but the Drink was damn expensive .😅

That drink was way overpriced, dude! Lucky thing, it tasted good, though 😅

Definitely could have got for lower haha, but still not bad. And it’s really touristy so they definitely bunmp up the prices haha
No chance I am getting tatted on a random street that’s taking walk ins. People do that clearly don’t give a funk about quality lol
Where were you heading to? Spoiler pls haha
No spoilers haha
😅Stay safe and healthy, boy. And we will stay tuned for your new adventure
Thongs are called Flip Flops now
Thongs refer to ladies panties 😅😅😅😅😅 lol
An American thing perhaps? 😂 I still call them things in Aus haha
Start the video showing jay walking.
That’s asia bro
40 Riggit = 8.55 USD for a pair of fake Nike pants is not cheap.
Probably could have got cheaper for sure
should bargain
45, 40 all expensive for fake goods. They are only 15.
The uncle need to clean his workplace argh😭
