A lot of racers wouldn't share tips on practice. Rossi is a true sportsman helping the sport he loves by teaching ppl and letting them use his track. Take note future stars on how to act like a true sports person

That's not how Rossi got his number 46. When he was young, he was watching a race from Japan and a guy at the very back had number 46. That guy passed everyone and finished first, so Rossi decided he wants to use that number when he would start racing.

Nope he's said in a few interviews that he used the number because it was his father's and he wanted to complete the work of his father

Okay Valentine I gotta a few questions for you, from one italian motorcycle racer to another, first I say to you congrats on all your success,I will always be a fan, I ride all forms of bikes supercross, motocross, and road race which I really enjoy most, because all the work I put into mx and supercross, harescrambes moving around on the bike you never get the traction like being on pavement race track and I find that more enjoyable, and rewarding,so we comes from two different directions into roadracing I'm from the motocross and supercross jumping, skateboard vert half pipes"like Tony hawk,Bucky,"which influences my style most when it comes to getting airborne...and it just "skateboards" that is expanded my balance spectrum from basically being almost upside down on one of half pipe to upside down on the other, and back an forth. Being more of experience from the dirt bike world,I thought I could offer my experience and my passion to help,my italian brother from another mother, not ever crash on his dirt bike again, because I had to touch base with you cause something really funny happened a few months ago,my friends have been telling me I really need to be on Facebook,so I thought about it for a day or so.Then all of a sudden I say to myself I'm gonna do this I really want to have a super good name that reflects who I am and all I stand for,so I say hmmm..racing,I am italian,Italians are mucho crazy for racing,so. This is what I chose..life at speed, italian style..cool right...only one problem, next day I go to check out my facebook account ,and I end up at your face book page, and ...so I say the the way we settle this you bring to of your Yamaha race bikes to either USGP tracks Indy or Texas you win you, I teach you how to ride a dirt bike so you never fall off again, you win and you teach me the finer points of roadracing, cool I am to old for arm wrestling,anyway...hey good luck next season motogp,I am serious about the help in the dirt I am that good,no joke I really want to see crash and how you got hurt if someone hit you on another bike or crashed into you that don't count on your side,as mistake, what that base of dirt your track is made out of,I ride ever kind surface snow, grass, mud, hardback, sand ,never ice, snow was the most fun I had riding, one time I was on this giant practice field for soccer, doing figure eights in winter in 7 to 8inches of fresh snow, cold out I just started doing dirt track figure 8 pattern, started out in second gear quickly go into third gear to keep the tire spinning an get as much sideways as possible and I kept making larger and larger figure eights til they were almost one quarter of a mile long, the field was 80meters wide and almost half mile long,I finally get up into fourth gear, then fifth gear wide open in 7 inch deep snow I have the back fender,I swear its in front of the handle bars...the whole time I am just laughing so hard but the snow is doing a great job of keeping the bike underneath me I am hanging way forward to the left almost chewing on the clutch lever,God I love riding in the snow was all I kept thinking, the ground was perfectly flat,oh wait its not shite, gotta go need a new pipe just broke that one over the right rear shock...no body damage to me,sliding on fresh cold friction free loose comfy snow, for fifty or sixty feet almost as much fun a sleigh riding without a sled...love the video by the way, good luck next motogp,I ride Yamaha when I road race, and Honda in the dirt,by the way.new Yamaha dirt bike suspension is supposed to be a little better than Honda's forks and shock...rock on...
