You can't trust the odo meter avg, fill your tank again and then calculate it. One thing more you were driving alone in an empty car, the average will drop when you will put weight. Still at an average i can easily say that with family and luggage this car will give at max 15km/litre at 120km/h speed. Which is much better.

Good experiment. The car is driving from lahore to islamabad by motorway. This road from kalar kahar to islamabad is constantly going down Ward slope. So car show more good fuel economy than expected at each speed test.
Sir.. if there are 4 persons with luggage with AC on, its average will drop to 12-12.5 at 120 kph, like u saw at 110 is was giving 20-21, but at 120, it drastically dropped to 16.. same happens in city. As this car gives v less average on slow speeds and consumes a lot of fuel during acceleration.. max 11, decent drive
bhai jan, it seems that you consumed alittle bit more than 1/4 of your fuel tank, can you please tell how much kilometer did you drove in that fuel. also how much more did you topped-up to fill up your car tank.
Brother what do you find unique about the video's and content from this blogger as l find his videos irrelevant, with very little information, most in of his videos he pushes people to buy 660 cc Japanese cars and imported accident damaged cars which are repaired to a sub-standard, poor workmanship by so called mechanics, ustaads.The average Pakistani have very little knowledge of of cars and they take advice from these so called experts like Abdul Aziz Ibdi who them selves have no knowledge.
@@pressmachines Brother I've been reading Pakwheels forums and there's a huge difference of opinion regarding the fuel average of all the cars e.g. you would find people claiming that Vitz (1000 cc) gives an average of 17km/l and a whole lot of other people complaining that their Vitz doesn't cross 8/9 even on light foot. Same is the case with Totyota cars like this one. so gettting a chance to see the actual average in the video was very insightful to me.

Full tank wala formula try kare aap wapasi p. Lahore to Islamabad m Gaya tha jdm g corolla m 19 litres m, 1.5 manual. Halki acceleration. Avg koi 20.5 kml aae the. That car has a smaller body and bigger engine to halke acceleration p it gives good figures. Gli k body bare hai. Engine chote. V hard to get the figures u quoting.
All those suggesting to do full tank method, we can still do that method based on some assumptions using this video. Look at his fuel mark at the end, he said almost 1 quarter but it actually is more than 1 quarter of fuel is used. Lets assume Fuel Used ~= 16 to 20 liters. (He can refill the tank and find out but we can only assume). Total Distance covered ~= 335 OR 340 km Fuel Average ~= 17 to 20.5 km/L. (1 person and no Luggage, very important part he forgot to mention). So I would assume the actual average was somewhere between 17 and 20 for this trip on motorway only, with only 1 person in car and no luggage I think.
A lot of people pointed out on these lines. Kay kallar kahar kay baad the road is downwards, hence the good average. Secondly, I was all alone with almost no luggage. Maybe some time I can do the same experiment before kallar kahar. And also do the full tank method. In Sha Allah. Nevertheless, thanks for the insights.

Pretty impressive average, but practicaly the average would be low, considering u are travelling alone. Whereas with max people and luggae load it would yield different results. Anyways if fuel quality is good which is very difficult to find in pakistan and cruising at 100-110 km/h will give better results. 120 mark and u realize that u are ruining the fuel and average as well.
Its possible for 1.3 gli,, i have reborn and once i drive it at 100 in winters and it gave me 16.5-17 if you want to get average then drive with light foot and keep rpm low.
For goodness sake. After Kalar Kahar its downhill, you should have done on the same road at the same day for about 10kms and at level motorway. It is less than 15km /l at 120kmh RPM at 3.5k 16km/l at 17 110km/h 17km/l at 100km/h 19km/l at 90km/h 21km/l at 80km/h 20km/l att 70km/h 17km/l at 60km/h 15km/l at 50km/h Altis 1.6 is also the same. Bcoz best Power to Weight Ratio. while 1.8 Grande is almost same at 110 km/h. Thanks to CVT.

I had owned 2016, 1.3 auto GLI. It will never give me above 12 km/l from Islamabad to faisalabad. I never went above 120km/h.
