    Pro tip: Use metal thread inserts on your holes that will be used for the Mitee-bite clamps. They won't wear out like the aluminum will.
    As someone else mentioned, Machine the pocket for the Pitbull clamp according to Mitee-Bite dimensions. I use them by the dozens in my machine and they can last for years and do a great job but have to be used per the instructions.

    Don't think you ended up using the SMW mod vices correctly but glad it worked out for you. Great video

    Looks like the pockets for the Pitbull clamps are too big. They are supposed to be mounted against a shoulder from the backside and develop a lot more holding power that way

      Hey thanks for the correction. I went back and checked and your totally right they are supposed to touch the back wall. I’m not sure how I missed that but thanks for the heads up. I haven’t had many clapping issues but I’m going to print a spacer and see if it helps.

    is that a tormach 1100? thats the name of your mill cnc right?

      It’s a 770mx. It’s slightly smaller than the 1100.
