  • In this video, I show in detail how to replace the rear Suspension Knuckle. The car in the video is a 2017 Chevy Malibu. The vehicle was making an annoying noise from the rear. I also replaced the rear shocks in a previous video that's uploaded to the channel. The steering knuckle is a common issue with these vehicle. The lower bushing being the culprit.

    Man I thank you bro. I can now fix my wife’s car for much less than what the dealer quoted me, $1400 for both rear knuckles 😬… Gonna get the parts ordered tonight with Amazon Prime and I’ll have them both installed by Saturday night. Thanks brother, enjoy your evening 😎 🫡

    Thank you so much for the great content! I was about to do the hub/bearing assembly on my girls malibu but she has also had the clunk clunk issue that I had read on the forums was a knuckle most likely. I'm guessing the failed knuckle bushing may have contributed to the bearing failing. Now that I saw your video I'm definitely gonna swap the knuckles when I do those hubs since it all right there anyways. Thanks again for taking your time to share your methods for the r&r on this common failure point of these Malibu's!

    Is there a relatively cheap impact drill and electric wratchet wrench you would recommend? Im trying to get my list of tools together and im unsure what would be the most appropriate. Thanks man! I appreciate you putting this video together.

    I can't seem to find a site for the rear knuckles. The only one I found is basically cheap quality. Can you help?

    • @TerenceDIY
      @TerenceDIY  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The links are in the description for both OEM parts at a discounted rate. As far as decent affordable impacts and ratchets, Harbor Frieght "Bauer" brand is decent and they "Hercules" are nice. Both being affordable. Let me know if you need anymore help. Thanks for watching.

      I could be wrong but the link appears to be for steering knuckles instead of rear suspension knuckles. I managed to find the rear suspension knuckles through that site but they're out of stock. The only ones I could find were OEM and were $260 for the pair.
