I have a feeling the name of this song foreshadowed the future conflict between Epsilon and Foehn. Epsilon loves its viral weaponry, and Foehn's insignia is represented by a predatory animal.
Both virus and predator feature the fighting style of the Epsilon Army and the Foehn Revolt respectively. One prefers unconventional and stealthy tactics to kill off its adversary, while the other leans over superior strength and weapons to crush its preys.
The second wave of psychic energy engulfed Tanya. Instantly her mind was once again swarmed with the whispers, each louder than gunfire. She tried to clear her mind, to focus on something she could see and hear and yet she found herself in a misty violet void, there was nothing to focus on other than the whispers as they became more coherent. "Surrender." "Join us." "Let go." "The truth awaits you." "No." Tanya tried to resist, to shut them out but the pain in her leg was too strong. The whispers wormed their way inside her mind, compelling her to stop resisting to just surrender her mind to the current of thought and be swept away into the Tower's hive mind. "Why are you doing this to yourself Tanya?" The feminine voice asked. "You're in so much pain, we can feel it. Join us, become of one mind and we will take it all away." A beam of light pierced the void and Tanya could see her, the female super soldier that brought down the Paradox Engine. She descended from the light to land right next to Tanya, arm outstretched towards her. "Don't be afraid. Take my hand and the pain will go away." She smiled and the whispers returned. "Join us." "Become one with us." "We welcome you Tanya." "Let go and we will ease your pain." Tanya could barely hold the whispers back. In fact a growing part of her didn't want to anymore. Why would she resist them? They were so comforting, so inviting. Why was she fighting them when it hurt so much? Why couldn't she just let go and embrace them? It was at that moment that Tanya's willpower gave away and she reached out to the psychic's hand. The moment the two made contact something inside her changed, it was as if all the tension in her mind found release. All the fear, insecurity and despair were gone as the psychic, no, her name was Libra, pulled her back on her feet and into a tight embrace. Tanya lacked the words to describe what she was feeling, all she knew is that she didn't want the feeling to end, she didn't want the pain to return. She just wished that Siegfried- "Don't let the Professor's legacy fall in his hands." Siegfried's last words came back to her. "That woman killed Norio!" The panicked rocketeer shouted again in her mind. Suddenly Tanya's memories came flooding back into her thoughts. Instinctively she pulled away from Libra, the woman who killed Norio and countless more Allied soldiers. Who was she to speak of easing pain when she had probably caused more of it than any other living being on this world? Who was she to offer her comfort after everything she'd done? "Get away from me!" Tanya shouted, in turn Libra just smiled. "You're strong Tanya Adams, but not strong enough. I will find the truth and you will join us eventually, it's only a matter of time." Libra said and just like that Tanya felt the pain in her leg return as she found herself back on the snowy ground in Point Hope and was now struggling not to throw up from the sheer disgust she felt at herself for enjoying it, for almost giving in to it. No wonder so many people were falling under the Tower's control if this is how it felt, pure euphoria, stronger than any drug of physical sensation she had ever experienced before. It was obscene, the way Yuri preyed on people's desires for inner peace to get them to surrender their will and individuality. She resolved that she wasn't going to die here, that she would fight to the end. She just needed something for the searing pain in her burnt leg and she'd be right back into the fight.
5000th viewer, beautiful music feels like I'm playing the game listening at 2am, even though I have not seen this mod and only discovered it now. Sounds distinctly C&C Red Alert 2 but on it's own "Side"
Were now sending 3 infiltrators to the paradox engine.

[User_Name_Here] Now that it’s 5 months later what do you think about the mod? One of the best you’ve ever seen isn’t it? :p
Feels like GLA style.
Well, Scorpion Cell is more or less GLA in Mental Omega.
To think we now have to make EA go into bankrupcy for the hope someone may take C&C license and start making new games and not the Rivals abomination.
