Today Morning I got diagnosed with autism. A very late diagnosis since it's usually revealed in childhood and I'm turning 18 tomorrow. These songs are therapy for me. Growing up with mental illness was particularly rough for me, and it almost claimed my life several times. Lost and Destroyed sums up a feeling that's hard to explain with words; it's like moving through desolation trying to find that glimmer of hope that you still believe exists - somewhere. These days I'm doing much better, and am so close to beginning a career in soccer, but I like to listen to music like this before i train, before i play. Feels like paying homage to how far I've come, and it fires me up on a personal level. Thanks Cheshyre, your music is special.

Now I have a feeling that things will never really go back to the way they were before. But also the feeling that this is a free space for new things to be built in its place. I have not lived many years... But seeing this process happening before my eyes shows the passage of time with the greatest possible vividness.
