Therapy for covid and isolation and the stroke I had last year. I discovered that if I watch Mr. Petherbridge before I go to bed, either the Wimsey videos or one of his, or both, then I sleep better and the world seems a less scary place. Very grateful for that. It was a hard year. Thanks.

I see so many comments about Edward being ‘the definitive’ character of various roles. It is this total immersion in the role and inhabiting the world of each character that he plays which makes him one of the best actors I’ve ever seen.
Hugely talented. No wonder we all fall in love with him.

I could watch him tie his shoes for two hours whilst reading the ads plastered on the bus, and I'd be enthralled.

I know. How can this man be so hot. It's true that some men get hotter with age. I absolutely love the way he speaks. He seems quite charming.

Thank you for these Edward -I went to see your show at the Unity Theatre in Liverpool last year. It was thoroughly enjoyable and brought me here (eventually). Congratulations on your nomination for Best Performance this year and thank you for the technique videos.

This is so phenomenal. I always dreamed of becoming an actress but then I became an illustrator instead :) In illustration, one has to think about the expressions of the body very similarly like Mr. Petherbridge is demonstrating here on stage. I could watch him for hours. A very earnest subject presented with such wit and humor. TFS

Excellent! Shared with my daughter who is a keen artist and along with learning more about anatomy and proportion, which she endeavours to do, getting a good understanding of posture and busy language and what it conveys is also important.

Also: when leading with throat and feeling saintly, do you notice your voice deepening and resonating, slowing down?
To a musical pace, a singing growl. Wonderful!!

He's so disarmingly wonderful, and a charming performer. He's so charming that to listen to him speak of his interests is uplifting and soothing.
Sort of like the quippy British equivalent of Bob Ross on the Vibe Check scale.

I have no idea what he's talking about, but I see he didn't play Lord Peter Wimsey. He was Lord Peter Wimsey. No acting at all. Hard to imagine that Dorothy Sayers didn't see into the future and write the character around him.
