@@TomsTinkeringandAdventures I thought I saw a sign in De Smet that is was the birthplace of Laura...never-ending, she lived there as a teenager...my bad.
Ha- I just rode the cycle by this museum a few hrs ago... I live 25 miles from there (Slayton). Almost every July I take my girls to the Walnut Grove Ingalls outdoor pageant- a fantastic production. Today we rode the Minnesota River Valley scenic byway and stopped for Oktoberfest in New Ulm, Schells Brewery- yum.
The movie brought back so many memories I can't forget
So many people grew up watching the shows and reading the books, always interesting seeing how it sparks memories.
@@TomsTinkeringandAdventures This movie for me, has a lot of joy and memories, every time I watch it, I always want to be in it, so peaceful.
Keep up the good work
Thank you!
Awesome, thanks for sharing
My pleasure, can’t believe that I lived so close to it and had never been there!
Neat place
Local history is always good.
Been there ! Safe travels buddy ! DeSmet South Dakota was her birthplace if I remember right.
Born in Wisconsin, but the family spent a while in DeSmet…longer than in Walnut Grove but the TV show made it seem different!
