    Initially, NNPCL said Dangote should not monopolize the market but now they want to be the exclusive buyers. Why can't he sell to any buyer?

      The role of nnpcl is to make life hard for Nigerians.
      If nnpcl get the products from dangote, the nnpcl would now be selling for marketers, after nnpcl would have added their own money, but if it is sole directly to the marketers, the price would come down

      @@philipstanleya8055 The price of petrol is determined by very different factors. Petrol in Saudi Arabia is N930 per liter plus subsidy. These people are wasting their money on providing cheap petrol in their country. Do you eat shit because other people are eating shit or you decide for yourself if eating shit makes sense? It makes no sense for Nigeria to subsidize petrol, the fact other countries are doing it, does not make it a smart decision.

      @ebuka56 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@philipstanleya8055 If the point you are trying to make is that the income of people in Saudi Arabia makes petrol affordable for them then you are 100% correct. Unfortunately, it's not the income of the people that determines the cost of producing petrol. The biggest expense line in the production of petrol is the crude oil stock. This crude oil stock is priced internationally in USD. The meaning of this is that the price of petrol in most countries will be somewhat close to each other without respect for incomes of the poor and rich countries.
      Also, you seem to have the wrong mentality that it is a right for petrol to be affordable, it is not a right. It is right for the price of petrol to sustainably reflect the market dynamics of the business. If petrol is unaffordable for you, nobody has restricted you and others from parking your vehicle and exploring other means of transport or relying solely on public transport. This is the reality of life. The pure reality is that Nigeria as a country has descended to become a poor country where most people will struggle to survive. The country is inside what is called a Malthusian Trap in Economics. People should better adjust to their reality, work to make your life and the lives of those around you better and stop complaining.
