So you mean despite using the same icon, what Tanya is using against vehicle is just an extremely powerful explosive that happens to just not have enough damage to take down an armor upgraded slave minor on Mobile form, but when it converts into a building, c4 comes into play and instantly kills it no matter what?
@@estellebright2579 Precisely. The C4-cursor can forced for a weapon even in the original game without Ares DLL: SabotageCursor on the weapon. With Ares you get Cursor.Attack and Cursor.AttackOutOfRange.
True C4 will always completely destroy any building. It cannot be used against anything else. What Tanya uses against vehicles is a short-range, high-damage weapon with the Sabotage Cursor.

I'm surprised the slaves didn't turn gray and go rogue.
The slave miner lost its crate upgrades (and possibly veterancy too) when it deployed.
Veterancy bonuses always carry-over (as long as they're identically set on the pair) - but not Crate-powerups, that is true.
I think it's because it turned into a building, and Tanya's anti-building attack is a guaranteed kill.

Does Tanya's veteran status increase her C4 damage? If so, you should retry this with a "base" Tanya against all veteran vehicles.
