Amazing restoration and Respect to the Restorer!
I’m dealing with a bunch of antique LV luggage the belonged to my grandmother and mother, in varying conditions, going back to the 1920s. One of the three trunks sold for over $8000 at auction so that was very nice! I cleaned it very extensively to make it attractive to potential buyers, but there’s no possibility (or need for) the level of restoration seen in this video.

Does anyone know how much a Corbin Cabinet is worth?
A lot im sure, I would take good photos of it and send em over by email to Sotheby's or Christies auction houses and see what they say. I believe they have free appraisals but obviously taking out other fees if you go through them.

12,000 for what is basically an old wooden suitcase, the world is mad , but of course it is a LOUIS VUITTON old wooden suitcase ! If some prince had peed on it it would be Worth a lot more ,,,,,, BUT a beautiful restoration indeed ,,,

On this video can't you just Appreciate the Amazing restoration and the craftsmanship of the restorer as a work of Art! Ok Louis has a cult following and over inflated price plus the Idiots who will buy the travelling trunk. For me the video is about the restorer and the Magic he has to resurrect an item. @@vincentsmidowicz2931You are right Vincent I am a bitch ,, yes it is an amazing restoration, pity that as much care would not be taken for an Anonymous trunk but then again it would not be Worth as much on resell. This man did an incredible job. I recently bought a simpliar trunk for a friend who had wanted one for many years. I also paid 100 but euros. All the best to you x

You definetly dont know that much about LV or old trunk brands so hes a little argument for you. LV can last forever, the materials are top of the line and their hand work at that time was amazing. Most of the trunks u se listed as Vintage are from the late 1800 and early 1900, so if u do the math most of them are over 100 years old and they keep working. Not to mention the sofisticated design and the status that comes with a brand that haves survived trend changes, revolutions, wars such as the american civil war, ww1, ww2, etc. If you dont know what you are talking about you should keep your mouth quiet and keep buying ur stuff on aliexpress...
@@simonsantander5816 I worked for the group for six years and at one point I had to trunks and their content in miniature for an exibition, I sort of know what I'm talking about. There are many other makers of simple trunks that are unkown to many people Simply because they didn't do the 'marketing' , you can basically 'label' and 'market' anything. They DID make wonderful leather plain suitcases at one point in the past but only as good as many others at the time. I have a 100 year old leather suitcase, no brand, that you could use as a bomb Shelter it's so well made. Impossible to carry when full. Each to their own opinion, that is YT. Have a good day.
