DragonOS Focal w/ ANTSDR E310 + DragonSDR Firmware (SigDigger, SDRAngel, SDR++, QRadioLink, GQRX)

- This video quickly covers how to use the ANTSDR E310 with a variety of applications included in DragonOS Focal. I start out by configuring an SD Card with a modified ANTSDR E310 SD Card image (based on the stock image) that has additional programs installed. SigDigger's headless Suscli, Retrogram-PlutoSDR, Dump1090, OpenVPN, RTL433, and more runs great directly on the ANTSDR.
I then cover how to configure device strings in applications on DragonOS to access the ANTSDR over its 1Gig Ethernet connection.
This is just showing one of many ways the ANTSDR can be used. I've been able to run OpenWiFi, Raspbian/Debian, and more from SD Cards.

Awesome job! Keep it up. In case you're not aware, for unknown reasons, the "rtl_433 -d plurosdr" command must be restarted (ctrl-C) in order to decode data streams. I tested this image/application with the ADALM-PLUTO rev.B, rev.C, ANTSDR E310 and it works fine after a the second restart.

Just before I buy one, I wonder if they unit you have...boots from the SD Card by default?

The one I received is set to boot from the sd by default. If I open up the case I can change that, but I’ve always just used the sd card. Hope that helps

I liked it cause it had a little more processing power and ram then the PlutoSDR and has the sd card slight and several OS/firmware builds for it. I’m not sure quality wise if it’s better or worse then the PlutoSDR. I think anything the Pluto works with the AntSDR will as well because it’s built upon the PlutoSDR SDK. I was able to grab one when it first came out so it wasn’t too expensive, I think as with everything these days, the price jumped up.

I have been testing Pluto on Matlab & Python and it is great
I know of its limitations (i.e. unstable clock; grounding issues) but for a hobbyist it is great.
If this is any better I will buy it; at AliExpress it is going for $550

Waouh Thank's for the job...Just one question, is it just a copy paste needed to upgrade the ant? No need to use the DFU mode as explained from microphase?
On my AntSDR I’ve not used any other method besides formatting the SD card properly and copying/pasting the necessary files over.. reinsert and it boots from sd (I didn’t change the switch settings inside). They shipped it to me configured to use the sd card. With that said, the latest image I put up online has sdrpp server capability as well as SigDigger server capability, but for either to work it most likely needs the matching version GUI on the other end. I try to keep everything in sync.

Me again here. I always follow your videos and am a fan of your entire project. I would like to buy an SDR for BTS research with the main focus of supporting my country's justice and public safety agencies. I arrived at this SDR CALLED Microphase antsdr e310 cha that is worth it?
I look for a sdr with lower prices that is as good as the mini lime-sdr. could you point me to some?
For a bts, I would suggest the AntSDR e200 since it is supported in UHD by microphase modifications. As for the AntSDR E310, I think you would need v2 to gain UHD support.
