The perfect example of why Hunt: Showdown and Escape from Tarkov continue to be the premier "extraction" or "pvpve" shooters with very little real competition. Hawked looks like a mix of BF2042 Hazard Zone and Fortnite. Once other developers actually figure out what makes EFT and Hunt so compelling, the Extract Shooter genre might actually blow up like we all know it should.
noone of those new tentatives scratch the ich of what made extraction games like tarkov and hunt the top notch games, its crazy because when BR became a fever, the copycat wave of games got fast what made that type of game nice to play, this time its being the other way around
Sorry, I've tried to enjoy Hunt, but to me the gunplay is boring and the mechanics of the game are janky and slow. Maybe that's just my preference, the ancient weapons and issues inherent just don't interest me at all.
I’m in. This game looks flashy, high customization (I’m all about the customization), much to your arsenal, a plot, and I’m sure the music or soundtrack is great. Waiting for it.

Art style is the main one but it’s also the character models/animations, camera perspective (both standard and when ADS), the UI/HUD. The damage numbers/text, the loot boxes, drops and many other things. I’d honestly believe anyone if they told me this was made in the UEFN. Don’t know why you’re in denial about it being like Fortnite in more than one way…
